I challenge folks to look up the differences between liquidity makers vs liquidity takers. Truthfully they are incredibly different. Buyers in the market are so frequently fearful of a dev or team taking liquidity simply because.. most do. Liquidity makers offer supply into circulation when the demand is there. What does that do? It softens price impact and gives a buyer a better allocation of supply. The same goes for stables. When liquidity makers put SOL or USDC on the buy side of an order book, they are stabilizing ranges and building up supply for a secure treasury. And that is key, and probably the most important 2 words in this painfully long post. “Secure treasury” You probably haven’t read this far and may even question what secure treasuries are because they are in fact few and far between.
