This is the answer. REAL love is to will the GOOD of the OTHER. That doesn't mean patting someone on the head like a child who you believe is trapped in a web of demonic lies. It's working to bring them to the Truth. There are those (many dear friends of mine) who think the answer to Islam's manifestly destructive nature is simply commerce. "They'll moderate through trade!". Okay... we heard this with China and democratic governance. How'd that go? It's necessary but not sufficient is the truth. Trade is voluntary, moral and good. But it's not Truth. This is not respecting Muslim people. It's putting other ideological, materialist priorities ahead of the good of those individuals. It's hoping they'll be rendered benign so they don't overthrow our society. That's worthwhile, but won't win the day. It's pats them on the head to continue living a lie. It's also, fundamentally, rooted in a belief by many that "all religions are the same, filled with anachronistic barbarism". This is false. All people have barbaric tendencies, which is why history if filled with people who claimed to be acting in the name of their faith doing barbaric things. But the doctrines and truth claims of the faiths are NOT all equal. Not by a long shot. The real solution to the people of Islam is we should LOVE them. That does NOT mean welcoming them in while possessed to burn the West to the ground. That means preaching The Way, The Truth, and The Life. Physical containment, and moral conquest. Guarded walls to keep out the possessed and brave missionaries to try and save them where they are. That's not "hate". It's love. Because if the Christian West falls to this ideology. ALL is lost. Us... and THEM.
