Two Haitian nationals are now charged. And the numbers are wild. These weren’t major supermarkets. They weren’t fully stocked grocery stores. Prosecutors say they were small shops allegedly used to trade EBT benefits for cash and illegal items while taxpayer money got drained at a massive scale. One report says the SNAP volume was SIX TIMES higher than a real stocked supermarket. That’s not a mistake. That’s a machine. And Americans are sick of watching their money vanish like this.
