@chilternrailway But when does first class actually apply? So for this service shortly after my message the driver said first class was declassified - which made sense for how busy the train is. But is that always the case on this route - not even sure it’s possible to buy first class for it?

@chilternrailway Hi - just got on the 733 from HW to MYB. There’s a carriage labelled 1 - is it actually a first class carriage on this service or is it just labelled that way? New train is nice, lighting better than the last new carriage, seats a little too upright though.

@nectar hi I’m trying to convert Marriott points into Nectar points. I have linked accounts and I get the option to convert in the apps. But when I do so I get an email with a temporary code although nowhere on the app does it ask me to enter the code anywhere.

@altontowers hi I’m really confused by the changes I’m hearing about online to the access pass. My son has a ride access ID card but it doesn’t have any symbols on it (we didn’t do the upgrade to access card) and it doesn’t seem to be recognised by the ride access app at all?

@chilternrailway @Central1850 Thanks that’s good to hear. Will you be changing the LED lighting on the existing ‘new’ carriages as that LED lighting is definitely not soft?

@TeaPaintAndWork @Central1850 Hi. Yes, the lighting is very good on the new trains, they are LED and are very soft on the eyes. I personally find the seats comfortable and spacious so I hope you do too. ^TM

@chilternrailway @Central1850 Will the newest carriages you’re getting be better than the recent set of new carriages? They have harsh lighting and the seats are too upright - when there is a train with a mix of both types, I always aim for the older style carriages with softer lighting and better seats.

@HotelChocolat hi - disappointment yesterday with the ‘up to snow good’ milk advent calendar. Our son opened door 10 and couldn’t get the chocolate out, turned out that the box was incorrectly packed and so it was actually a quarter of the chocolate for 24th.

@nectar Hi I installed the Nectar app tonight to check my balance and found that a large number of points have been stolen - someone else has used my card. I still have my card so don’t know how this happened. Please can you help to (a) get a new card and (b) refund points?

@TeaPaintAndWork There's an amended timetable in place today due to engineering works so service times and calling patterns will be different for some services. Normal service is scheduled to resume from the 1st August.

@chilternrailway on a very crowded and very hot 1749 from MYB to HWY. Was harder to get on than the 1745 used to be, you seem to have pushed HWY people from 1745 to 1749 while also adding interim stops. The Tues-Thurs change is worse for HWY. What do the stats show?

@Bucksmart @TeaPaintAndWork Once activated, a Flexi Season is valid for any number of journeys between the origin and destination stations, including intermediate stations, as long as the Flexi Season held is valid for the route used. It remains valid until 04:29 the day after it is activated. ^CK

@chilternrailway given you will be having different services on a Monday versus Tuesday - Thursday, if I buy a 28 day flex season ticket HW to MYB can I instead board the train at BCF and will my ticket work on barriers there? So change the station I use per day?

@chilternrailway @chilternrailway thanks for the info. Seems a bit unfair that you have differentiated train times across days to be worse for my station on a certain days and no flex on the station I can use.
