I think $TIG is severely mispriced.. ⚫️ "The Innovation Game ( $TIG ) is the first and only protocol designed to accelerate algorithmic innovation, by coordinating global intelligence" 🔵 " $TIG creates an open, collaborative and competitive ecosystem harnessing computational efforts over a wide spectrum of real-world challenges, spanning artificial intelligence, cryptography, biomedical research and climate science" 🟣 "Driven by the desire to direct the power of decentralised systems towards truly valuable purposes. By transcending limitations inherent in centralised entities, be they corporations or nation states, $TIG can facilitate collaboration and achieve output on a scale previously impossible" Incentives 🤌 $TIG

A landmark achievement for open innovation. We're proud to announce that our protocol, live on @Base, has produced an algorithm that surpasses established state-of-the-art methods for the notoriously difficult Quadratic Knapsack Problem (QKP). This validates our core thesis: that an open, competitive, and incentive-driven ecosystem can systematically accelerate algorithmic innovation. [1/5]

Within 36 hours of TIG 2.0, over 2M $TIG (~$8.5M) was locked via Proof of Deposit, reducing circulating supply by 17.9%. Benchmarkers and Delegators are stepping up - this is just the beginning.

A lot of people at NeurIPS talking about ways to regulate AI. I've heard whispers of not releasing models because they're too intelligent, and whitelisted companies we trust to "make it safe" There is no safety in this control and censorship. Regulation won't work. We can't bound it by playing whack-a-mole. Make the token the objective function, and make sure we ingrain it into humanity -- all else is futile.

While many folks were out touching grass for Thanksgiving, we were monitoring the rollout of v2.0.4-p2. This was one of the most critical updates to land before v2.1 testnet grinding began, so what can we say about the results?

6/ DeSci funds (crazy) science. Lots of crypto leaders are interested in longevity specifically and science more generally. This means more access to capital for frontier science. And probably more headlines.

Today, @tigfoundation announced Proof of Deposit on @base Sepolia PoD intensifies the competitive dynamic where Benchmarkers compete by mining and now also by their ability to attract and maintain delegated deposits. TLDR: - There's an incentive to lock $TIG for long periods - There's a dynamic minimum deposit requirement of locked $TIG for miners - Benchmarkers are incentivized to share their rewards to be competitive - Anyone can delegate $TIG and earn rewards now See the latest announcement on our Discord for a step by step guide, or visit our docs: docs.tig.foundation/locking-tokens More 🔜

I'd like to address some of the FUD lately around the $QUIL $wQUIL mining costs. A certain individual is circulating screenshots where I discussed mining costs and concerns around emissions. For the record, I was concerned, and I had every right to be at the time. The period of local PoMW (1.4.21.x) meant that node runners were essentially operating in the dark, and other network participants had no real way of knowing exactly how many nodes were out there, what their specs were, and thus, what daily emissions were. As this situation continued, and we surpassed the dates when we though we'd be upgrading to 2.0, more and more node runners reached what was called the "max increment" of their proofs, or the point where the proof difficulty was at its lowest, and nodes earned the most QUIL/hr that they were ever going to earn in that phase (unless they added more workers or upgraded the hardware). When my personal nodes reached that state, my mining costs, which are totally dependent on how much the hardware costs to run, had dropped to about 2.5c/QUIL (current at that time, not average, and that is important context). My average mining costs during 1.4.21 were still much higher because of the period prior where nodes were earning a lot less with a lower increment value (>10c). Once Cassie provided more detail about the number of nodes out there, I started extrapolating out my scenario to the number of nodes, and grew concerned, justifiably, about where emissions might actually be. As we saw the value of circulating QUIL climbing with the 2.0 release, it became apparent that emissions exceeded target, but at the end of the day, my fears around it were proven wrong when we settled at ~1.16B, not a far cry from where we'd expect to be at 3M/day for the 140+ days. Moral of the story: - Yes, 1.4.21 went on longer than planned and that resulted in higher emissions than planned before 2.0 - Yes, that resulted in a predictable supply shock that would impact the value of the $QUIL token. We watched that unfold over the past few weeks. - That supply shock has ended, and it is much more expensive right now to mine one $QUIL than it was before (again, personal for me is 80c/QUIL but it will be dependent on your hardware costs, which prover ring you're in, and whether your hardware is landing proofs or not) - It is a shame when community members leave the project and feel a need to drop a nasty fart on their way out the door. But people will do this to help justify their own actions and make them feel good about their decision. It doesn't change anything about the technology or where the project is headed. - I've been buying more $QUIL because I know Cassie is going to get this done, and this network is going to be awesome. Don't get psyop'd. The path to greatness in this space is often filled with trials and tribulations and this is simply one of them.

🧑‍🎓 @QuilibriumInc Academy Lesson 3 TL;DR: v2.1 mainnet, node dashboard, and network explorer late Q4/early Q1. This also unlocks app development and the Q Compute language. Q1 will also bring flagship partnerships, a two way bridge a new litepaper and more. Continued below..... Long version: The Quilibrium roadmap is a labour of love and focuses on shipping quality features for developers and users that drive real value, and further the mission to a better, private and equitable Internet. Q4 2024: - Network enhancements to improve message passing resilience and stabilize incentives for node runners - v2.1 in testnet along with early access features (S3 compatible API and MPC key management) - Interactive node operator dashboard - Network explorer preview Q1 2025: - (late Q4/early Q1) v2.1 general release, enabling app development, content hosting, and wallets. Includes first iteration of the Q Compute Language* - Product demonstrations and flagship application announcements, ranging from conventional crypto applications like DEXs and wallets, to unique products that can only happen on Q - Additional major partner announcements - Two-way bridge between wQUIL/QUIL and support for bridging to other networks - An improved website and interactive documentation for builders - Revised whitepaper and a new litepaper Q2-Q3 2025: - New API-compatible wrappers - KVS, Keyspaces, Lambda/EC2 - New, powerful network primatives - streaming audio/video, CUDA, advanced vector intrinsics for AI/ML *A subset of golang that is natively compatible with the broader golang ecosystem. Instead of needing to have specialized code in domain specific languages, off the shelf code can be readily converted to decentralized applications. "Slowly, then suddenly all at once is going to be the upcoming storm of applications built and deployed on Q. This endeavor started with a message, but it will thrive in a newer, more secure Internet. Get ready." -- Cassie Heart $QUIL $wQUIL
