I don’t get why people avoid finding out their IQ. Knowing your IQ doesn’t actually change anything. Whether it’s high or low, simply always do your best to succeed.

Building an IQ site (ballpark/educational) so I’m diving deep into psychometrics. Terman’s 1921 study tracked 1500 kids with IQs above 140. None won a Nobel. Two he rejected for scoring too low did. Shockley and Alvarez. Both physics. Ended that arc before it started.

What's painfully obvious to you is somebody else's greatest unsolved mystery. The correct response when you notice the gap is to hand over what you know, not to judge the person for not having it. Every expert was confused once. Somebody was patient with you too.
