They believe their conspiracy theory (that Elon, pretending to be his dad, wrote Maye's tweet), because they a) hate him so much, and b) are idiots.

According to the Elon-hater theory, Elon, playing Elon's dad (Errol), logged into his mom's account (Maye's), but thinking he was in his dad's account (Errol's), wrote, "Your mom [Maye] told me [Errol] she [Maye] was cleaning toilets in a Liverpool boarding house as a child."
Except neither Elon nor his dad would ever write that about Maye, because they both obviously knew she grew up in Canada and South Africa. The only person in the family who grew up in Liverpool was ERROL'S mom, Elon's grandmom, Cora Robinson.
The only meaning that makes sense is Maye was referring to Elon's grandmom when she wrote "your mom...was cleaning toilets in a Liverpool boarding house" because Elon's grandmom was the only one who grew up poor in Liverpool.
Is that clear enough?
How did it happen? Easy. I leave out words all the time when writing. It was some kind of a brain fart. She failed to type "dad's mom" or "grandmom" and just absentmindedly wrote "mom." (Or, in some backcountry English dialects, "mom" can just mean an older woman in the family.)
Now, to some, all these words are more proof that I love Elon and want him to be my bestie. Ok! Elon, if you're reading this, I still think you're an ass. The world would be better if you stuck to rockets and kept your moronic ideas out of politics and off Twitter.

A LOT of people are dunking on Elon for this. They are making a big mistake. I dislike Elon, but this is a silly attack. Common sense should have stopped people from making it. Common sense is in short supply. Folks are claiming that when "Maye Musk's" tweet refers to "your mom," "she's" referring to Elon's mom, which is, of course, herself, which would be pretty weird. So, they conclude Elon must be using alt accounts. According to this theory, when Elon sent the tweet, he thought he was logged into his dad's account, which is why he was referring to "your mom," but he accidentally logged into his mom's account and ended up looking foolish. Superficially plausible, except for one giant flaw... According to this theory, "your mom," Elon's mom, Maye Musk, was "cleaning toilets in a Liverpool boarding house as a child." But Maye Musk was born in Canada and grew up in South Africa! Maye Musk was never cleaning Liverpool toilets! Who was cleaning toilets? Elon's DAD's mom. His paternal grandmother. His grandmother (Cora Robinson) grew up in Liverpool! In other words, when Maye Musk refers to "your mom," it's a typo, and she's clearly referring to "your dad's mom," who is the only one of the two of them who grew up in Liverpool! This is all very obvious once you look at their bios, but people who don't like Musk want to believe the worst of him, so they jumped on the story. I admit, my first reaction was glee, "Aha, silly Elon, this is awesome," but I knew I had to double-check before tweeting a dunk. And immediately the theory fell apart. I wouldn't bother writing this long clarification, but Maye Musk's tweet has received hundreds of replies making fun of Elon's supposed error. I've also seen big accounts spreading this story. Be careful out there, people. Don't spread misinformation!

The ceasefire, that was supposed to start at 00.00 hours on the night from May 5 to May 6 was violated by aggressor’s blatant attacks. Yet another eye-opener for the world of Russia‘s true terrorist and genocidal intentions. No-one shall believe Russia has ever been serious to end its war of aggression against Ukraine and to comply with the norms and principles of international law.
