@Kadae Thank you very much! That's an excellent point. I'll definitely add a visible scrollbar because it also makes it much clearer when a panel can be scrolled or not so I think it's something the game should have. Thanks for pointing it out!

@KyleCushway The trick is the outline, since I merge everything first, then running a pixel outline pass on the whole silhouette gives you one clean outline stroke around the whole character and then the shadow uses that same merged image so that the shape always matches :) 2/2

@KyleCushway Thank you<3!! Yes, I started with the naked base body sprites, split into pieces (arms, legs etc) so limbs can disappear when severed, then clothes,armor pieces,weapons(both hands) layers go on top for what’s equipped. I stacks them all into one group image before drawing 1/2

@ToenAndreMC Weather transitions in a dark fantasy roguelike is a great detail — rain making the environment feel reactive adds a lot. The interior/exterior distinction especially is something a lot of games skip entirely.
