Going forward, if you see one of those mystery reward missions, it's safe to assume that it's probably a random Mythic Lead. We have all the main "Fulfillment IDs" we needed, so now all the remaining unknown ones are almost certainly random Mythic Leads

Using Fortnite as testing grounds, works just as expected 🖤 Having to make a lot of performance tweaks along the way, but overall it's doing great great. I'll continue to improve it so Linux/Windows versions of Pandora are as identical as possible.

Look, I will say this as respectfully as possible. He did not "take one for the team". Epic Games is owned by the owner of Unreal Engine, which is used by a huge amount of games. Sweeney makes roughly 5.1-9 BILLION. With a B. Based on Net Worth, if Tim Sweeney were to use his ENTIRE estimated net worth of $5.1 billion (the lower Forbes estimate from March 2026) to pay employees an annual salary of $125,000, he could fund 40,800 employees for one year BY HIMSELF. Let's assume that the devs made 125k each (obvi variables), to keep all 1000 at that rate is $125m, leaving Sweeney, at the low estimate, an annual worth of $4.9 Billion. That's assuming his stock package doesn't pop as a result of retaining that talent, mind you. These are the folks that made him this profit. As literal as you can possibly take it. What is offered is NOT commeasurate nor is it "oh how nice", it's bare minimum for locking the talent that made you a pop culture behemoth behind restrictive NDAs and taking away their security in an economic crisis. You need to save $500 million? SELL SOME SHARES AND PROTECT YOUR STAFF. Defending this person who chuckled that they can fight Apple bc infinite money and had enough to buy hundreds of thousands of forest in NC for conservation while his dev team is left in the cold and the rest have to fear when it's their turn is insanely nasty work. You can't honestly defend that if you have empathy.

@Wh1t3f34th3r @QuantumCamper @SypherPK They cut a lot of employees from across the game, including a lot of critical BR employees. Please look into who the layoffs actually effected

@QuantumCamper @SypherPK They axed the people that brought us some of the shittiest modes. Rocket Racing, Ballistic, and Festival Battle Stage to name a few. When areas of your game do not grow the game, you have to trim fat. Tell me you have never managed people without telling me.

"To me this looks like they're throwing in the towel. Like they're giving up" @SypherPK comments about the 1,000 employees layed off at Epic Games today. I'm not gonna lie I had to fight back tears when he was talking about this on his stream. Fortnite means so much to me and the thought of it not existing is soul crushing.

@TypicalGamer @TimSweeneyEpic @jogo They'd need to somehow allow you to make custom weapons and gadgets for the mode, which means waiting for that to be officially supported in UEFN (which will likely take years), or give you direct access to Fortnite itself so you can implement them (they won't)

Hey @TimSweeneyEpic, I love Ballistic and I know there's a dedicated community behind it. Let us at @JOGO buy it from you and we'll maintain, update and grow it. I'd be sad to see this mode just disappear... it didn't get the chance it deserved.

its insane how we went from fortnite being in a great state again with the launch of chapter 7 and a bright future for the game, back to uncertainty about the future of the game in only the span of 3 weeks

Two Employees responsible for STW’s Original Character Designs and Story were apart of the massive layoffs today. 💔 -Vitaly Naymushin worked on multiple iconic STW Character Designs -Nik Blahunka was a lead writer for Epic Games and contributed to STW Storylines (noticed by @Rezztro & @ForsakenLok)

hi I'm still alive, mostly on bsky, but I'm back here to express my opinions: the layoffs are fucked and incomprehensible. my sincerest best wishes to everyone affected by it.

@RealShiina @SentinelCentral part of me really thinks that the HR department at epic just looked at people who were being paid a lot and marked them to be laid off without even looking at what they were doing in the company, because people like him and evan are responsible for things happening RIGHT NOW
