It will focus on frequency control ancillary services (FCAS) and will earn additional revenue from energy arbitrage, under a revenue sharing deal with Tesla. genexpower.com.au/genex-switches… - Major developments at Giga Texas per @JoeTegtmeyer and his sources. Model Y production will be paused for line upgrades in the beginning of July. Giga Texas is switching from swing shifts, to Day and Night shifts after the production line upgrade (similar to what Giga Berlin just did). Personnel who were formerly on the swing shift will be redirected to Cybertruck production lines to finalize testing, calibration, and begin production. A new Tesla manufacturing site is south of Austin in the Kyle, Texas. This site is to produce seats and other sub-assemblies.
