@LDS_Dems San Antonio had the heaviest backpack on any finals team in Fox. In the end they couldn't get passed his putrid play. Wemby and Castle were not particularly good either but Fox should have known and played better.

San Antonio was clearly the more talented team. Genuinely just three or four plays away from an NBA championship. But the Knicks were more experienced and savvy and it showed in the last five minutes of every game

@andyblarsen He cost the Spurs this game for sure, likely the series. Inexcusable mistakes.

They must play De’Aaron Fox because not playing him would hurt his feelings

@tlacomb I mean... Fox, the vet presence, was absolutely atrocious. Harper missed that layup which was a rookie mistake for sure, but Fox took contested shot after contested shot, never sought teammates and took Wemby out of the game. He cost them this game imo, inexcusable.

Youth on floor and bench hurt Spurs all series long. Too many opportunities missed.

@Laurent58558472 @ryanswalters73 Imagine having uncertainty about why you were even created 😂 Make fun of my beliefs all you want, I literally do not care. I think it's hilarious you are walking around all the time like "well yea I exist but I have no idea why, guess God doesn't love me enough to tell me"

@TrueHalfCrack @ryanswalters73 Uncertainty is more insane than the certainty that every church around the world founded by actual apostles of Christ is heretical or corrupt while also believing that a church founded by an American con man who thinks the second coming will be in ‘Murica is the one true church?

Let me say a word about the Mormon controversy. Both Joseph Smith and Brigham Young are sixth cousins of mine. Yet I do not believe either one of them. Nor will I ever believe them. I’ve spent countless hours studying it. Mormons are not Christians. They should repent and come to the true Jesus Christ of the Bible, as many have. I earnestly pray they do!

@NarnianAttorney We understand that the "Christian God" is a divine mystery and not able to be understood. The concept of the Trinity is not explained in the Bible and is frankly untenable to the concept of a loving God.

Mormons do not understand the nature of the Christian God. Their reference point is the Mormon doctrine of exaltation where their gods are physical beings who were once men.
Kalen@KalenWilliams_

Are the creedal Christian/Muslim gods subject to the same moral laws that define what is good and what is evil for us on earth? Are human beings capable of discerning whether or not their god has committed an evil act? If a god commits evil acts, does he deserve our worship???

Incredible. In other words, you don't want to put any ideas out there that are just as insane as a loving Father who wants His children to grow into what He is (WOW HOW INSANE WOOOOAH) like... I dunno... God created us to worship Him. Because THAT is ACTUALLY insane, and I've heard it from several evangelicals here and elsewhere.

@TrueHalfCrack @ryanswalters73 Sometimes in an effort to learn the truth, we work backwards and exclude the most outrageous and ridiculous explanations first. LDS explanations are at the top of that list. While I’m still working that out, I can safely say that an-American centric conman isn’t the truth here.

@TrueHalfCrack @ryanswalters73 There are different Christian theologies that differ here and there on small and medium sized points but they’ll all agree that God did not create the world to create “spirit children” and “exhalted divine beings” and “spirit wives” and other nonsense

Ok, and maybe follow my logic here; if he didn't have sex before marriage, there wouldn't have been a possibility of a (potentially) false rape charge. So, yes, the (potentially) false rape charge is what killed his career, but the WHOLE ENTIRE POINT OF MY POST is that couldn't happen if he'd have followed the honor code. Did I make it clear enough for you pumpkin?

@m3lonh3ad @TrueHalfCrack @CriddleBenjamin Sex before marriage didn’t ruin Parker’s BYU career. Someone potentially lying about rape did. Plenty of BYU athletes break the honor code and still play. 100% of them aren’t on trial for rape.

Significant Court Filings in the Parker Kingston case....What do you make of it? One detail that hasn't received as much attention is that prosecutors also filed a separate motion seeking to block certain defense evidence at trial. Specifically, they are asking the court to exclude: 1. Testimony from the alleged victim's former boyfriend and three other men. 2. Evidence related to prior sexual history. 3. Evidence regarding alleged "religious-guilt-based limitations on sexual activity." Prosecutors argue those issues are barred by Utah's rape-shield protections and constitute inadmissible hearsay. @LW1307 Anecdotal evidence (as... questionable as this is) doesn't prove of disprove anything. Unless you want to say that similar anecdotes of improper behavior by other groups would also disqualify them from your trust? You must not be a very trusting guy.

I will admit, I basically do hate and despise Mormons as a group. It may be less than ideal in terms of Christian charity, I don't wish Mormons specific ill, but I have nothing positive to say about them. I cannot say, "Mormonism is wrong, but their people are so nice." When I was in undergrad I struck up a bit of a friendship with a professor who turned out to be Mormon. I had an interest in survival preparation. He mentioned that LDS store 12+ months of canned/preserved food in their homes and that they have programs through their wards. We got to talking, towards the end of the semester I asked, "can I put an order in through your ward for about $1,000 worth of stuff? Obviously I'll pay, I don't expect anything for free..." He said, "Well you're not LDS, so probably not... But let me see..." A few days later he said, "If you help us with our upcoming bottling and canning drive at the pantry, the ward bishop said we can take and process your order too..." I spent 8 hours on one day, 8 hours the next day, I even brought my father who worked the same 16 hours... We both worked 16 hours on their canning drive at their pantry warehouse for their ward. At the end of it, when it was clear we were not interested in joining the LDS, and just wanted them to process our order as originally agreed upon, I was told, "you're not a member, we can't process your order." I wouldn't trust a Mormon to tell me water is wet. I don't do business with Mormons, I don't talk with them, I don't consort with them, I don't want anything to do with them in any context. They are a cult that will act friendly and chummy when they think you might contemplate joining, but when it is clear you are not going to join, they will behave dishonestly and treacherously. This is why they were driven out of every single state they began in and had to flee to Utah. If somebody tells me they are a Mormon I already know I don't want to know them and I don't want them in my life.

@TrueHalfCrack @ryanswalters73 Buddy if you’re judging a religion’s truth by how boring or fun its afterlife will be, maybe Islam is the flavour you want. It has a lot in common with Mormonism anyway

Let’s Talk w/ Hayden Carroll
Jeff Durbin’s @PastorNinja apologetics are so weak that he’ll find absolutely any reason he can think of to not engage one on one with an informed LDS in a formal, planned conversation. It’s crazy that Jeff does this as a full-time job and is afraid to have a conversation with a dad who does this during his free time. He’ll talk a lot about us, but never with us. He says he doesn’t have time to talk, but he records episode after episode about us. Jeff, my debate invitation stands. Defend your worldview.
