Wow - the UK government has blocked a wind farm factory to be built by China's Ming Yang in the Scottish Highlands on security grounds. On the same day it backed Scottish "nacelle and hub" factory plans being brought forward by Danish manufacturer Vestas

@ThinkChinaSG I enjoyed Prof. Tao's article. I am puzzled why China does not respond to US tariffs with a China imposed duty on impacted exports. It appears that the US consumer is willing to pay more for the product, and I would think China firms would want to capture that margin.

The latest from Australia: Replacing 1m petrol cars with EVs could cut Australia’s reliance on foreign fuel by 1bn litres a year. I find it funny, because I've been talking about the benefit of EVs for years and was shot down by so many Aussies who were completely incapable of imagining the future. This was the result of the media doing a fantastic job of messing with the minds of the Australian people and also the failings of a government that brought in a tax for driving an EV. They did everything possible to keep people reliant on gas guzzlers. Yet, here we are. It has taken a war for Australia to see the light. How crazy is that? I live in China, a country that is leading the way in EV technology. It has accelerated so fast, installing top notch infrastructure nationwide and China is a nation Australia could and should learn from. Now stop complaining, go get yourself an EVs and start shunning those who continue to drive their V6 and V8 ICE cars. Wow! This is 🇨🇳 2nd tier sanction against Panama! ALL Panama registered ships docking in 🇨🇳are undergoing LONG, MULTIPLE & STRICT inspections! And very soon, ALL these ships would would deregister from Panama to elsewhere!! A very significant LOSS of revenue to the Panama govt!😆
