The gap has definitely narrowed. For good two-word .coms in the 5-figure range, it is now common to see the .ai priced and sold in a similar range, typically ~20–30% lower. For strong one-word names, the gap is still wider but has compressed quite a bit. A $1M .com can realistically translate to ~$300K–$400K on the .ai. We have also seen some 6-figure sales where the .ai was only about 30–40% below the .com. This really only applies to names that are native to AI use cases. If you are pricing something like SereneBeauty .ai, the gap would obviously be much wider. Of course, these are general patterns. There are always outliers.
