@letstalkcentral Same issue strikes again. Just had this email but flytipping (which includes some mentioned in my previous tweet) is still there. The contractors used to be really good. What’s gone wrong?! It’s getting dangerous dodging all the fly-tipping & potholes.

@letstalkcentral Thank you. The issue might be that there are more flytips on the same spots as previously but def still at least 5 on the road still.

@WhizzMid We have spoken to the team and they have confirmed that our contractor has said that they cleared some of the cases last week, some yesterday and a few more today. We have asked our environmental services officer to check the area when they are next passing.

@letstalkcentral In the last wk we have reported >10 fly-tips on Barton Hill Rd via @fixmystreet. Had an email today saying all cleared. I can confirm, having just been along the road, that they are all still there! Please can you investigate ASAP? It is disgusting & dangerous!

@WhizzMid How strange as this road doesn't show up as CBC on Fix My Street or our boundary map. I have passed your query over to our environmental services team to look into further and clear asap if this is our responsibility.

@letstalkcentral Central Beds have collected all other fly-tips on this road for years and years, collect bins, receive our council tax, deal with rights of way… Literally never had anything to do with Luton Council before!

@WhizzMid Looking at the map I believe this falls under Luton Council, so you would need to contact them about these fly-tips.

@tiredpsych Never go out for supper without a torch, ideally a head torch. Always made me laugh when people moved to the village and would comment on the row of wellies and torches. Always have one to lend newbies too!

Went to a health and safety event last week that involved safety around the cattle crush. Locking the head in, watching out for quick movements and avoiding kicks. Surprising knowledge transfer to just now cleaning the teeth of a one year old.
