Today I was baptized and confirmed into the Holy Catholic church. To celebrate, my lovely friends made a little brunch of coffee, mini quiches, biscuits, and almond cake. I took no photos lol. I'm eternally thankful of all the blessings God has given me. Happy Easter Saturday!!

Please pray for my 12 day old son, Maddex. He has been admitted to childrens hospital for a tumor in his kidney and we could use all the good thoughts and prayers we can get. It’s looking like he will need surgery to remove it. I can’t imagine my life without him in it we are so devastated by this news and just hope for a full recovery. Thank you 🙏🏻

@Benedicta_Bee We trust in Jesus. We know that Jesus may look like He's asleep in the boat, but He's very much still covering us. We may not know why God chose the Pope He did, but that regardless of the intentions of men, it is God who placed the Pope in his position.

How can a Catholic Catholic if they disagree with literally everything the Pope says? I mean this sincerely. How do we reconcile this? I would not belong to a Protestant church promoting or professing these radical beliefs? What do we as Catholics do? Sincere question.

@Elohim_Gadol Do you not understand that the sole reason we love Pope Leo and Mary is because of our love for Christ? That fervor you notice is born of a fervor for Christ - it's not separate from it.

Imagine if Catholics loved Christ Jesus with the same fervor they show for Pope Leo or Mary.

@Law_Of_Chastity A few more things: 3. Accept this cross and ask for the graces you need to love her past her unlovable behavior, as Christ loves you through yours. 4. Ask God to help you see where you are in love with something other than God - He's allowing you to experience His anguish.

Last year, I was the victim of adultery. All I can say is is that it was a struggle to stay alive. And it was a struggle to not put the other guy in the hospital. I have the sweetest, most talented kids. I know my presence in the home blesses their lives. But living in a home with my wife, who still desires the other guy, kills me. It truly kills me. I really don’t know what to do. Do I suffer for the sake of my kids and have a “roommate” for a wife? Or do I start over, with the hopes that one day, I can marry someone who actually likes me?

@Law_Of_Chastity Having been in your shoes, here is my advice to you: 1. Pray daily that God rekindle the passion for you in your wife's heart and help you heal the wounds this caused in yours. 2. Praise God for your wife each day and recount all the reasons she's a blessing to you & your kids.

@junrann1 If you find yourself feeling "spiritually worse" after attending the novus ordo, perhaps the problem isn't the Mass you're attending, but the story you're telling yourself about the value the one brings over the other. I highly recommend bringing this to Christ.

is it obligatory to attend the novus ordo when there’s no tlms available and how about if it only makes you feel spiritually worse? i wanna hear other peoples thoughts

@lovinqthelord The Litany of Humility and the Litany of Trust are two prayers I offer up every morning to help me fight this tendency. It's pride, of course, to believe that any answer we could have could be better than His.

It’s crazy as someone who’s so religious, one thing I still can’t completely master is relinquishing control over my life and fully trusting in God. When will I learn that I don’t have to control everything? That not everything is in my hands?

@DrShayPhD Scripture states it clearly: Baptism is the new circumcision - and that was applied to infants. Moses's own wife told him he was a murderer for failing to circumcise their sons. Ponder that for a moment.

In Catholicism, infants are baptized even though they cannot personally repent or believe.

@jess_ann_pin Simple: Which one of all of them shows us the path to authentic, genuine love? I don't mean the warm fuzzy kind. I mean the kind that's hard - the choice to love the neighbor who is hardest to love. That's the right one.

Religious people are funny. Of all the hundreds if not thousands of gods humans have believed in, how do they know they got the right one?

I’m so devastated. I know I’m supposed to put it in hands and trust. I’m so scared, I literally wanna crawl outta my own skin. I fear depression will send me back into another bout with mania. I’m pleading with God to help me.

@ProjectMysticDV Suffering in this life IS a reward in two ways: 1) To make reparation for any sins committed in this life before you arrive in eternity; 2) To be able to carry a tiny sliver of the cross that Christ carried for us out of gratitude for His sacrifice for us.

I'm really getting sick and tired of receiving bad news. My mother in law has breast cancer. She feeds the poor and serves the Church. She has sponsored seminarians that have now become priests. She has done so much for the Lord and this is her reward. Brutal suffering.

She's gone... my darling big sister is gone. A car crash. Hit head on while waiting to turn. Died on impact. My heart is dead. I'm devastated
