@_KJS_21 I don’t put stock into anything…..there have been plenty rumors surrounding Keon and Rui….ive seen more of those rumors than getting a 5…so my post is centered around that

Here is my thing that frustrates me with this offseason and the process between the last 2 years…. I have zero problem keeping all 5 picks. I like Wolf and Egor. I understand the Powell pick, but you compound it by adding Traore and Saraf. As it stands right now we also have Mann on this roster, so out of a 15 man roster, our guards is - MBJ - Egor - Traore - Powell - Saraf - Mann 6 out of 15 guys for the 1 or 2, you add Keon to the mix that makes 7. Egor should not play anywhere besides the 1 or 2 and Powell is better suited at the 2 than 3. Adding Keon, while makes sense for Jordi, It doesn’t make sense as far as roster construction goes UNLESS, you are moving Saraf or Traore AND Mann. I understand it’s still early in the offseason, but I’m not fully understanding the logic…. Its part of why I hate this era of “positionless basketball” The only rumors that should be happening at the moment is what we are doing at CENTER. We need a true 5 that can park in the paint for offensive rebounds for a team that will be predicated on chucking it up. We should not be playing small ball by putting Julius at the 5. I also don’t like Wolf at the 5….I also don’t trust Sharpe to stay healthy all season #NetsWorld

As we enter the free agency period, Brooklyn still has a hill to climb to reach legitimate play-in contention next season. New York, Detroit, Indiana, Boston, Cleveland will all definitely be better. Toronto, Atlanta, Orlando, Miami, Philadelphia will very likely be better. Charlotte and Washington are within reach but they will probably be better. Brooklyn is down at the bottom of the East with Chicago and Milwaukee. Injuries happen but the Nets are probably a 13th seed with a 32-35 win ceiling as currently constructed. More work to do.

@Luigi__457 Tyler was a developmental pick/two way player . Whoever we took with that pick probably wasn’t going to play on the main roster this year anyhow..

Mikal Brown Jr. Took An Interesting Approach To The Concerns About His Game. He pointed out all the things about his game that aren’t his strong suit, his injuries and his inconsistency on defense. When watching all of these lottery picks interviews, they all have this huge ego about themselves, they all believe they are the best, and nobody else is better than them, which is just fine. But it’s also good to have an approach like this. If I was a GM and heard a player say this, I would immediately consider drafting them, not many NBA players can admit their weaknesses. Mikal seems like a very humble individual, I love this about him.
