Sometimes I realize I complain too much NHL fans in the central time zone don’t see their home playoff games start till 8:50 local time and as result it’s now 11:45 in Dallas and they’re just walking out of the arena now….for a game that didn’t even go to OT. Brutal

@TotallyAllIn @JLazzy23 i mean personally this could all be avoided if we went back to the simple 1v8 2v7 etc playoff format, i just don’t like the idea of play in games, i don’t agree with 84 reg season games but i think Play In diminishes the value of fighting for your spot in a full season

No, I want Anaheim to play LA and the loser has to beat the Nashville-Winnipeg winner if they want to be in the playoffs. And I want Washington to play Detroit and the winner to play the Ottawa-Boston loser to get in. And I'm willing to keep it at 82 games instead of 84 to make it happen - who the hell needs to see two more December/January regular season games? Would really like to see a 1-14 make it and 15-18 play a play-in tournament but that's too much to ask.

The NHL is literally moving to 84 games next season, I’d rather see a play-in than 2 more regular season games.
