@Garbo824 @Rainytuesday3 @alexhatherley Personally I think next year. GR is bursting at the seams with players. If they can’t break in to Detroit we have a major issue. If they do come to Detroit, but culture issues still persist (March collapse) then you need to shake things up like Buffalo did.

I’m a hockey casual so I’m sure my opinion is dumb and wrong but in what world does a GM get hired, and miss the playoffs 6 consecutive seasons and keep his GM job? I get he’s a Detroit legend but come on. In what other sport or scenario would that happen?

@Garbo824 Forwards: MBN, Lombardi and Danielson are probably in Detroit next season. Defense: ASP should add scoring and should be in Detroit all season. Idk if Anton Johansson makes it next year but maybe him, I’m not super familiar with his game but I think I’ve heard he is a scorer?

@rynshe17 @JD_Jerbear And yes the AHL is not the NHL so maybe it’s a skill thing, but you move that core up to Detroit and the culture hopefully comes with it.

@rynshe17 @JD_Jerbear By bringing up GR players. The culture is definitely an issue in Detroit. Every player that gets sent down immediately seems to find their game. MBN, ASP, etc. have all succeeded in GR but as soon as they get to Detroit they become invisible (or visible in the wrong way)

@oldirtydangles @TheKlenkster He doesn’t even get the shot off if he tries. Cant tell which Minnesota D that is but they closed the gap enough that if Copp tries to pull that puck back to shoot the puck, the D would have a clear lane to poke check it.
