This is my Tesla Model Y in the UK. It already has all the hardware and software needed to drive itself under my supervision - making it dramatically safer than any regular car on our roads. Yet @transportgovuk, @Heidi_Alexander and the Vehicle Certification Agency have still not approved it for use here. It’s like having seatbelts fitted in the car… but the government won’t let you use them. This technology is already working safely in other countries around the world. Why are UK drivers and other road users being held back from a safer future? Enough with the delays already - follow the @RDWnl lead and get this approved. #Tesla #ModelY #FSD #FullSelfDriving #UKAutonomous @elonmusk

The Model S/X signature edition should have a perk that anytime you go to a busy Tesla Supercharger it will automatically eject all charge cables from the other poverty Teslas. It commands them all to drive away and come back when you are done charging.

Hot $tsla HW3 take… - retrofitting HW4 cars won’t hit Tesla’s bottom line as they haven’t recognised all the revenue from FSD YET. - it would be a cash burden, but not billions of dollars. It’ll be done over a number of quarters most likely - if anyone thinks that Tesla can’t figure out a way out to retrofit these cars, they’ve done this before. - they engineer these cars from scratch, their boffins can figure it out - FSD V14 lite won’t be approved in Europe so waiting for that is a fools errand

@scouseP81 @tesla_jokes . I've read several articles with which said differently, they said that the testing was approved and that they were monitoring the results. Clearly I'm not personally involved but that's what the articles said

It was fully loaded and $190,000 in today's money when it was new. The early cars were very luxurious Even without #FSD it's still way more advanced than 90% of the cars on the road 🚗🤖 .

Tesla FSD EU-wide approval The Swedish 🇸🇪 Transport Administration restated that the EU-wide approval of FSD will ONLY apply to NEW vehicles produced AFTER the approval. They also say that they have not received any application from Tesla or the RDW as of yet for national approval in Sweden. No timeline to when the EU committee will make a decision about the EU-wide approval has been given to the official that responded to me. To note is that he is one of the committee members that will be involved in the decision.

@thecyberfam We've now also made it easy for customers with free supercharging to only be routed to Tesla Superchargers (where their free supercharging always applies).

We were wondering about this. We stopped at our very first 3rd party Supercharger the other day (Wawa) and didn't know how that would work with our free Supercharging. We didn't get charged but then I noticed this message in the app. The first one is on them, from now on I pay for 3rd party. Good to know and cool that they covered the first one! 👍 I'm hoping you can tell 3rd party on the truck's screen, I didn't notice.

@niccruzpatane .They were talking about running CarPlay in a separate window. I would be delighted to use CarPlay to manage my music, messaging and phone calls and stick with #Tesla UI for the navigation aspects. Not ideal for everyone, I could run with that

The biggest problem with CarPlay is enabling it to synchronize with Tesla FSD. If you input a destination in FSD using Tesla’s native navigation system, it isn’t going to match what you see in Apple Maps, Waze, or Google Maps. Integration is a lot more complicated than it seems.

@jasonlee0509 @shortword . #Tesla stated they would get to HW3 v14 Lite as soon as they have #FSD Unsupervised approved and in place for HW4 If that doesn't happen, then people would have a point. I do acknowledge it's frustrating in the meantime .

@alannutter @shortword So, when? It might be a couple of years. Then most of HW3 will be disappeared. That’s exactly Elon’s plan.

Ok, so the dutch peeps with HW3 aren't happy. They're gathering data for a class action. The website can be found here: hw3claim.nl In fairness, they make good points. it's concise and to the point. Tesla said they'd deliver X if you paid Y. Customers paid Y but didn't get X.
