@gotrice2024 @RickD_GK He isn't hungry, you can tell by looking at him. He's manipulative and trying to get handouts from the people already paying for his food stamps that his mom uses to buy grape soda and beer with. Hard times make strong men, and well, the time has come.

If a neighbor kid worked up enough courage to come knock on my door, tell me he’s hungry, I would not laugh at him and give him a bag of Cheetos so he would go away. In a now viral moment, grown men and women were trash talking the little boy saying he looks like he ate already and worst. I don’t want to think that we’ve gone so far downhill that we are picking on a hungry child. We don’t know what he has going on at home, the facts are straight up. He’s a child and he’s hungry, what more do we need to know. The neighbors said they are done cooking but haven’t eaten yet. That tells me they got more than enough to spare a plate for a hungry child. Like I said before, I am not going to invite him in because that’s weird to invite someone else’s child in but I would make him a plate and make sure he’s safe. People that are saying that they would never feed someone else’s kid is the problem, if they were that worried they can have him ask his mother first. If he came by your house would you feed him or send him along his way hungry?

There is a difference in courage and entitlement. What this kid did was far, far, far from courageous. From what I gather, they are neighbors and this is a regular occurance. If my child knocked on someone’s door asking for food, I would teach them that it is bad manners to do this. He isn’t starving either. (And I’m not saying that because of his weight). It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to be able to see if a child is “starving” or not.

@gotrice2024 @thandar324 A hungry child shouldn’t be mocked for asking for food. You don’t have to invite them into your home to show basic kindness. A sandwich, a plate of food, or even checking if they’re okay can mean more than people realize. Compassion costs less than cruelty.

This is outrageous.. Not a single person on my flight is masked up while we’re in the middle of a double pandemic (Covid + Hantavirus). I politely informed the flight attendant that this is a super spreader event. She just shrugged and walked away. I've already filed a formal complaint with the FAA and CDC. This is reckless and cannot stand. Masks save lives, the science is settled on that.
