There's a growing need for gospel-centered worship/music leaders in churches across New England. Not sure where that pipeline exists or could be cultivated but our church is currently looking and I know of a handful of other like-minded churches that are as well.

Of around 1.4 million people in New Hampshire, just over 50k people in total voted in the primaries - leading to Trump’s victory over Haley. Though it’s a small segment of the population & we should not be all too concerned, this is also how elections are ultimately determined.

Is there a market for churches of all varieties to go through a basic HR training on best practices of hiring, compensation, performance review for pastoral staff to earn some sort of credential that they could advertise to pastoral candidates that they’ll treated with dignity?

It really baffles me that in 2023, there isn’t a fractional HR firm that assists with hiring for churches that is accessible. Most of the “big names” out there only work with “big churches” I know when vanderbloemen placed me in a mega, it cost the church 50k! Insane.

@gpackiam This has not been my experience in the northeast. The more dominant trend is the shift in a new generation of leaders who tend to operate from a leadership paradigm that is far less classic entrepreneurial. The volume of classic high “D” leaders has dropped off a cliff.

I’ve noticed a shift in recent years— or maybe it’s a Southern California thing— where the impulse for church planting is less MISSIONAL (“I want to reach these specific people…”), and more ENTREPRENEURIAL (“I want to do church this specific way…”). Have you seen that?
