When red voters rephrase the dilemma it's something like "Red: %0 chance of dying, Blue: You die, unless %50 of ppl also press blue" which is still the same decision; but when blue ppl rephrase the dilemma, it's just this. Nothing to do with the actual dilemma and pure demagogy

You will literally die if you jump in front of a barrel, but everyone has a chance to get out of the barrel's way

So u would be throwing yourself to your own death, hoping enough people do the same thing

@array08191 @DavidKastille @hellofamil73975 You cannot reword the problem to get out of red being the selfish pick that would actively kill people if enough were as selfish as you. Both are gambles, but where blue is a gamble to save everyone, red is a gamble to kill people that didn't vote red.

If we worded the buttons as "Red: %0 chance of dying" and "Blue: You will die, unless %50 of people also press this button" most ppl would surely press red. Red choice is just refusing to play the blue gamble, which is a dumb & pointless gamble

Altruistic, sure, but still selfish. We save people by trusting our own ability, not luck

@notsoErudite People don't assume infants would be able to vote because it's a hypothetical thought experiment (meaning it's not real) aimed at people who can understand hypothetical thought experiments. The main dilemma completely disappers once you assume infants would vote
