@SkarredGhost Yeah, good review! Thanks. Now I feel that I don't miss out on this one (for now). It seems that even great resolution and low weight as highlights don't prevail with the visual bugs or quality issues on the hinge. Theatre handle is fun for expos, but missing audio fails epic!

#AR and #MR dead for #Microsoft. Final good-bye to Hololens hardware confirmed. Oh, well. We had fun, Microsoft... But sad to see that I have to always go video-see-through for #AR now... #Quest3 I don't see a proper replacement coming along soon...

On Friday, Microsoft announced the End of Life for HoloLens 2 as Dec 31, 2027 and a "Last Time Buy" to their Mixed Reality Partner Program. The end of life for HoloLens (1st Gen) is Dec 10, 2024, devices will "continue to function, however will no longer receive security updates or technical support."
