@BFW Detroit is called Hockeytown for a reason. I think it feels skewed right now with the Wings playoff drought and Lions / Pistons / Tigers with more hopeful seasons. In my 43 years I’d definitely say Wings are top 2.

I need examples of a US city with at least three pro sports teams where the NHL team is top two in fandom in the city. Boys here said Detroit, DC and Tampa. I think I’ll give them DC and Tampa, but contest Detroit. Some guys said Minnesota, I think Twins are bigger than Wild.

Colin Dorgan, who lost his mother, brother & grandfather in the Lynch Arena shooting last month, scores a 2OT game-winner to send his team to the @RIIL_sports D-II championship game.
