Pritzker’s new budget is handing up to $9M of our money straight to NASCAR and the PGA. $5M for race car operating costs. Over $1M for golf tournament expenses. Millions more for capital improvements. All while property taxes have surged 27% under his watch, and now rank among the highest in the nation. Illinois has the worst pension crisis in America. Nothing screams “helping working families” like subsidizing billion-dollar sports empires as our taxes climb and pensions crumble. Yet he refuses to give the Chicago Bears a dime for a new stadium. This is what our tax dollars are really funding.
