The Robert and Mary Lee enslaved housekeeper, Selina Gray, and her daughters, c. 1860. Selina Gray was an enslaved woman who served as the head housekeeper at Arlington House, the Virginia plantation home of Robert E. Lee and his wife, Mary Anna Custis Lee. Her story is remarkable because of the pivotal role she played in preserving artifacts that had belonged to George Washington. Selina was born into slavery around 1823 on the Custis family estate. She was owned by Mary Custis Lee's family, the Custises, who were direct descendants of Martha Washington. In 1831, when Mary Custis married Robert E. Lee, Selina remained at Arlington House as part of the household. She married Thornton Gray, another enslaved man on the estate, in a ceremony held in the family parlor in 1831, and the couple had eight children together. As head housekeeper, Selina was entrusted with significant responsibilities, including holding the keys to the mansion. Her most historically significant act came during the Civil War. When the Lee family fled Arlington in 1861 as Union troops advanced, Mary Lee left Selina in charge of the house and its contents, which included an extraordinary collection of George Washington memorabilia inherited through the Custis family, items like Washington's personal effects, china, and Revolutionary War relics. When Union soldiers occupying the property began looting these treasures, Selina confronted the Union general in charge, Irvin McDowell, and demanded the artifacts be protected. Her intervention led to many of the Washington heirlooms being transferred to the U.S. Patent Office for safekeeping, and they eventually became part of the Smithsonian's collection and were later returned to Arlington House or remain in national collections today. After emancipation, Selina and her family continued to live in the Arlington area. She visited Arlington House later in life and was photographed there around 1872, one of the rare surviving photographs of a formerly enslaved person at the site. She died in 1907.

The Republican Party was actually founded around 1792 by Thomas Jefferson and James Madison to oppose the Federalist Party (led by Alexander Hamilton), which they believed favored a too-powerful central government. Even though modern Republicans want to claim Jefferson they are actually the party of Lincoln and were called the Radical Republicans. This is a totally different species that is Hamiltonian. This party was and has always been the party of state capitalism. That, along with the powers and perks it provides its leaders, is the whole reason for its creation and continued existence. Opposition of the expansion of slavery into the territories had NOTHING to do with anything other than protecting Northern economic interests. The party was founded to remove all barriers to making the federal government into a machine to transfer money to those interests the party represented (and as many others as needed to be paid off to support the operation). It was Republicans, before the “Civil War” was even over, who began carefully spinning the war to be what it was not, a humanitarian crusade to “free slaves,” instead of a reprehensible war of political and economic control that had long been disguised by the euphemism of “preserving the Union.” In reality, it never ceased to be a war of economic control. All done for the goal of preserving revenue while simultaneously preventing economic competition from a Confederation of free trade States forming on the Union’s Southern border.

Leonard Norris (often called "Len") was an enslaved man at Arlington Plantation, the estate in Virginia owned by George Washington Parke Custis (the step-grandson of George Washington) and later inherited by his daughter Mary Custis Lee, the wife of Robert E. Lee. Born around 1788, Leonard was among the first generation of enslaved people brought to Arlington when Custis established the plantation in the early 1800s. He and his wife Sally had several children, including a daughter, Selina Gray, who became the head housekeeper and personal maid to Mary Custis Lee, and a son, Wesley Norris, whose later testimony became historically important. Wesley Norris's published account (1866) described how he, his sister Mary, and a cousin attempted to escape Arlington in 1859 after George Washington Parke Custis's will promised the enslaved people their freedom. They were captured, returned to Arlington, and Wesley testified that Robert E. Lee personally ordered them whipped and had brine poured on their wounds. This testimony has been central to historians' reassessment of Lee's relationship to slavery. Leonard and Sally Norris remained at Arlington through the Civil War, after the U.S. government seized the property and turned much of it into what is now Arlington National Cemetery and Freedman's Village. A Union soldier in 1863 recorded a conversation with Leonard in which Leonard spoke about Lee. Both Leonard and Sally died at Arlington sometime before 1872.

The official FBI files, which were hidden until recently, show that Sally Yates ordered to “SHUT IT [the Clinton Foundation investigation] DOWN” and that the FBI deputy director Andy McCabe implemented the order (see attachment). All done with Obama’s full knowledge.

Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, with knowledge and approval of Obama, ordered to SHUT DOWN the FBI investigation of the Clinton Foundation. Obama wanted Hillary to win in 2016, not Donald Trump, so Obama’s Attorney General and Deputy AG ordered to clean Hillary Clinton up

On the morning of January 20, 1953, Harry S. Truman and his wife Bess climbed into their own Chrysler — paid for with their own money — and drove themselves out of Washington. No motorcade. No security caravan. No choreographed farewell meant to polish the record. The thirty-third President of the United States merged into ordinary traffic and headed back to Independence, Missouri — the same small town that had shaped him — carrying an approval rating near thirty-two percent and a widely shared media conclusion that his presidency had fallen short. Washington did not mourn his departure. Home offered no immediate redemption. Truman returned not to comfort but to constraint. His income came largely from a modest military pension — sufficient only if one defined “sufficient” generously. There was no speaking tour prepared, no corporate directorship, no financial cushion reserved for a former president. At one point, he took out a bank loan simply to bridge the distance between what he had and what daily life demanded. Congress noticed. Not out of sentiment, but out of unease. Watching a former commander-in-chief navigate visible financial strain unsettled even political opponents. In 1958, lawmakers passed the Former Presidents Act, establishing pensions and benefits for those who followed. The system exists because Truman’s reality made its absence impossible to ignore. He did not campaign for sympathy. He walked the streets of Independence every morning, as he always had. There was no Secret Service protection for former presidents yet, and he never requested special treatment. He answered his own telephone. He personally replied to thousands of letters. If someone wrote to him, he believed they deserved an answer from him. On his desk — now preserved in the Truman Library — sat the sign that defined his presidency: The buck stops here. The decisions that had damaged his popularity were not reconsidered. The Marshall Plan committed American resources to rebuilding Western Europe after World War II. Critics warned of excess and entanglement. The rebuilt Europe of the following decades offered its own rebuttal. The Truman Doctrine established the framework for containing Soviet expansion — a foreign policy architecture that would shape four decades of global strategy. Its consequences would be debated for generations. Its structure endured. In 1948, Truman signed Executive Order 9981, desegregating the United States military. Congress would not act. He did. The political cost was immediate and steep; Southern support fractured. He signed it anyway. In 1951, he dismissed General Douglas MacArthur. MacArthur was not simply a general; he was a national icon. Removing him for publicly challenging civilian authority was politically perilous. Public backlash intensified. Mail poured in criticizing Truman. Approval numbers dropped further. He acted because the constitutional principle of civilian control of the military mattered more than personal standing. That principle outweighed applause. Truman accepted the cost without visible regret. History, unlike approval polls, operates on delay. In July 1965, President Lyndon B. Johnson traveled to Independence — not for optics, but for acknowledgment. At the Truman Library, Johnson signed Medicare into law. Truman had proposed national health insurance in 1945. It had been rejected, attacked, and politically burdensome. Two decades later, the idea returned in workable form. Johnson handed the first two Medicare cards to Harry and Bess Truman. The gesture recognized continuity. The idea had begun with the man once dismissed as misguided. Time had altered the nation’s readiness, not the principle itself. Truman died on December 26, 1972, at eighty-eight. By then, the verdict of January 1953 had been revised. Presidential historians increasingly ranked him among the upper tier — not without noting mistakes, but with acknowledgment that the most controversial decisions had proven consequential and largely correct. He understood the distinction between popularity and necessity. The Marshall Plan. The Truman Doctrine. Desegregation of the armed forces. The removal of MacArthur. The early call for national health insurance. Individually, each was politically hazardous. Collectively, they reveal a presidency grounded in consequence over comfort. He left Washington in a Chrysler, approval in the thirties, carrying a bank loan. He spent nineteen years walking the same streets of Independence, answering his own phone, replying to letters himself, living quietly under a belief that character is measured most honestly when no audience is present. History recalibrated. It often does. Not quickly. Not loudly. But eventually, for those who chose what was necessary over what was easy, it arrives.

Spygate Exposed: The Failed Conspiracy Against President Trump, by British historian Svetlana Lokhova, describes Russiagate as “the greatest scandal in modern American history.” You can purchase it here: payhip.com/b/MqXJU The book proves that Russiagate was a deliberate plot by elements of the Obama-era intelligence community, the CIA under John Brennan and Comey’s FBI, to undermine Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign, prevent his election, and delegitimize his presidency afterward. I was pulled into the Russiagate hoax early on, thus becoming an eyewitness. False accounts in the FBI and CIA files and in the media portrayed me as a Russian spy romantically linked to President Trump’s National Security Advisor, Gen. Michael Flynn. Those smears were fabricated by CIA/FBI asset Stefan Halper and British asset Christopher Steele on orders from John Brennan. Drawing on my cooperation with the Durham investigation, declassified records, and my own direct experiences, the book traces a tangled web of deceit involving Obama’s inner circle, Hillary Clinton’s campaign, British intelligence, the CIA, Christopher Steele, George Soros, and media amplification. It shows how Brennan’s CIA and British operatives planted lies, entrapped Trump advisers, and fed fabricated intelligence upward. John Brennan’s Role (as the Primary Instigator and Driver) The book dedicates significant space, including a whole chapter on Director Brennan, to Brennan as the key architect who weaponized the CIA against Trump. Brennan bypassed standard intelligence processes, directed CIA operatives to manufacture the Russiagate Hoax, supplied unverified and false intelligence to the FBI (launching Crossfire Hurricane), briefed Congress, leaked to allies like Sen. Harry Reid, and shaped the post-election Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) to cement the Trump-Russia collusion narrative. His actions were politically motivated to help Hillary Clinton and damage Donald Trump. Key direct quotes and excerpts on Brennan from the book: On Brennan as instigator of early 2016 intelligence gathering: “Then CIA Director John Brennan’s public statements and actions suggest he is the likely chief suspect for the instigator. In May 2017, Brennan explained to Congress he directed the initial ‘intelligence gathering’ in early 2016. He said it was his hunch, as he put it: ‘his radar went up.’” The book quotes Brennan’s May 23, 2017 congressional testimony at length to expose his circular reasoning that Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help Donald Trump and damage Hillary Clinton. On Brennan’s control over the full “intelligence cycle” (collection, analysis, dissemination): “At each stage in the Spygate intelligence cycle then CIA Director John Brennan was intimately involved, which was highly unusual… The instigator predetermined intelligence would be found linking President Trump’s National Security Advisor Gen. Flynn to a Russian intelligence operation interfering in the U.S. election involving Donald Trump.” Brennan chose dirty operative Stefan Halper as “collector” rather than using normal CIA resources, influenced analysis with “positive confirmation bias,” and took “personal charge of the dissemination.” On passing fabricated intel to the FBI and White House: “Throughout early 2016 he likely passed intelligence from his source Halper to James Comey’s FBI to investigate… John Brennan told the House Intelligence Committee that the CIA began uncovering from the start of 2016 and then he passed along enough intelligence that Russia was undermining Hillary Clinton’s campaign and supporting her opponent Donald Trump to justify in his opinion opening the FBI investigation.” In August 2016, Brennan sent a “white envelope with ‘extraordinary handling restrictions’” to the White House containing what the book calls an “intelligence bombshell” on Putin’s alleged direct orders to help Trump — sourced from Halper and Steele’s fabrications. On briefings and leaks: Brennan briefed the “Gang of Eight” individually and leaked to Harry Reid, whose August 27, 2016 letter to Comey echoed Steele/Halper claims about Carter Page and Russian collusion. The book ties this directly to Brennan’s congressional testimony claiming pre-2016 intelligence on Russian efforts to “suborn individuals.” On the ICA and broader narrative: Brennan oversaw the January 6, 2017 ICA (Appendix A relied on Steele/Halper false claims of Kremlin cultivation of Donald Trump for years, as well as Michael Flynn and Carter Page). The book notes Brennan’s role in predetermining outcomes and using the ICA to publicly establish “what the Agency already concluded in August.” The book argues Brennan’s “treasonous path” rhetoric (applied to Gen. Flynn) and his unique counterintelligence authorities enabled the hoax, funded partly through Pentagon channels during the Obama administration. He operated with “amoral, unscrupulous” assets like Halper while violating every norm against domestic political interference. Barack Obama’s Role (as Enabler and Post-Election Director of the Narrative) Obama was the head of the administration whose intelligence leadership (Brennan’s CIA and Comey’s FBI) executed the operation. He signed off on key elements, including the fabrication of Gen. Flynn’s “Russian intelligence contacts.” Obama directed post-election efforts to frame President Trump as illegitimate via the ICA. The book shows how Obama’s inner circle’s actions were politically driven to protect the status quo and Clinton’s candidacy. Key excerpts/quotes: On Obama’s involvement in setting up Gen. Flynn: In November 2016 discussions with Trump, “Mr. Flynn’s name came up during a broader discussion about personnel issues… Mr. Obama’s concerns about Mr. Flynn… [were] also aware of Mr. Flynn’s well-publicized trip in 2015 to Moscow and other contacts with Russia.” Obama officials made Flynn “keep popping up” in the Russia interference probe. Pre-election briefing and green light: The 2025 foreword references declassified material on the August 3, 2016 Situation Room briefing where Brennan presented Obama and Comey with details of the “Hillary plan” (Clinton-approved effort to tie Trump to Russian intelligence to distract from her email scandal). The book describes Obama giving the “green light” for the Russiagate hoax narrative — confirmed by Brennan’s handwritten notes and recent declassifications showing the “Hillary Clinton Plan” originated on Obama’s orders via CIA/FBI. Post-election actions and ICA: “On December 6, the lame duck President Obama ordered a ‘review’ by US intelligence agencies of Russian interference in US elections, with a plan to make some of the findings public.” This produced the ICA claiming “Putin and the Russian government aspired to help President-elect Trump’s election chances when possible by discrediting Secretary Clinton.” Obama approved aggressive sanctions (expelling 35 Russian diplomats on Dec. 29, 2016) “tantamount to declaring a new Cold War” to box in President Trump. The book notes that an original IC finding of a legitimate election was overridden by Obama’s directive to rewrite the narrative and frame President Trump. Plotters “included some of the former leadership of Obama’s intelligence community [who] used information they knew was false” to unseat Trump. Intelligence agencies under Obama “behaved more like the oppressive security services in totalitarian states, disgracing themselves… by acting politically, as agents of the Deep State.” Brennan, with help from British intelligence, originally ran the anti-Trump operation out of Britain to give Obama “implausible deniability.” The operation was “onshored” as Crossfire Hurricane by Brennan and Comey, and Obama’s team used it to delegitimize Trump through the Mueller probe and beyond. Overall Thesis and Context My book is an eyewitness account: I was smeared as a “Russian spy” and Gen. Flynn’s lover by Brennan’s CIA operatives. It positions the entire operation as a panic response to Clinton’s email server scandal that was costing her the election — executed through Brennan’s CIA operative Halper’s fabrications, the Steele dossier, FISA abuses, and media leaks. Obama and Brennan are central: Brennan as the operational mastermind, Obama providing top-level authorization and cover both before and after the election. The new foreword emphasizes fresh revelations about the conspirators and their cover-ups, incorporating post-Durham declassifications (Brennan notes on the “Hillary plan,” the Clinton annex, ICA manipulations). I argue this constituted seditious conspiracy bordering on treason, with Obama directing the overarching effort to manufacture the “Russia installed Trump” narrative after Hillary’s loss. The book contrasts the hoax with ignored exculpatory evidence (e.g., NSA’s Rogers warnings) and calls for accountability. It is recommended by Devin Nunes and Sara Carter for exposing how Brennan’s, Comey’s, and MI6’s devious spies spread the Trump-Russia collusion lies. The new edition expands on these themes with newly declassified documents (including Brennan’s August 2016 briefing notes of Obama), making the case more explicit that there was a written plan by the Hillary/Obama/Brennan/Comey/Soros axis. It lays out the whole plot, from the Hillary Plan through the ICA, Mueller witch-hunt, and beyond, relying on declassified records, Durham findings, and my direct knowledge.

Many say that Robert E. Lee was traitor bc he went against his oath as a military man. What about Mr. Lincoln raising an army to invade his own people? Did he not swear an oath to protect his citizens? Which oath precedes the other? The Colonel’s? Or the Commander-in-Chief’s?
