Oh honey, I grew up in women’s shelters, police stations and on food stamps. To suggest (because you think I’m pretty) that I had everything handed to me and came from wealth (like Trudeau and carney whom you praise) is what is truly rich. However, I appreciate you noticing how frikken hard I have worked to pull myself out of that. It took many years and rejection, failure, depression, couch surfing, hopelessness—and most importantly, a deep desire to keep picking myself back up every single time I got kicked down to get where I am today. I am incredibly proud of what I created out of nothing other than a determination and a dream… and for my Pinterest boards for outfit ideas 😜 In fact, the struggle and suffering I know like the back of my hand is exactly why I’m conservative—because I know what it feels like to reap the rewards of your hard work. To have a dream and actually hold it in your hand, and to thrive based on merit because you showed up every single day and at least tried. It changed my life and it’s made me want to scream from the rooftops that the world can be your oyster if you want it to be and you don’t have to be dependent on the government/unhappy and unaccomplished because it’s what they force on you and it’s what’s easiest. I pray you reach for the stars and no longer accept incompetence and failure that is letting you down.
