It didnt glorilfy it but instead showed how annoying the roommate was about everything, fragile and easily triggered for no reason, only wanting a shared space to be only her way. Ainsley also expressed to the counselor people like the roommate are only out for their own needs and not even asking about the needs of others as well as being over demanding. Then when Angela came and got Ainsley, she didnt make insults, the roommate was even invited to go with them and Angela pointed out what could be gained from joining them? Making friends. Ashley still does the right thing later after being poorly treated by the roommate and correctly stood up for her. Because of Ainsley the roommate learned people can be completely different and still get along, Ainsley did not change the roommate did. Some people don't like Angela and Ainsley, I think they're great.... they genuinely care about others.

If you do something in order to affirm your gender, trans or not trans, it is gender affirming care. That includes haircuts.

This is gender affirming care and this is praised but if trans folks do the same it's demonised.
