I typically buy new, but it was close by, had 35k miles on it and I knew the area the seller lived in (by the pics of the houses in the car photo) to be a nice area. I asked the owner why he was selling? To fund my kids college he replied Where is he going I asked? Harvard! I said, joking, sir that is going to pay for one semester. He laughed, said I am selling the Porsche in my garage too, now I can pay for two semesters. I asked, what are you going to drive? He responded, I leased a Hyundai Iconic for $299 a month for 3 years. So this dad is selling his Raptor and his Porsche, leased a $300 a month electric car so he can send his kid to Harvard. Respect. I dont drive a Raptor because I send my kids to college. My guess is most of us have no clue the sacrifice our parents made to send kids to college.
