We are humbled by the amazing welcome our movie had in Trieste Film Festival yesterday. People took their time to come and watch this movie and we really loved to see that the idea of this film resonates with people in Italy.

Gm frens! Yesterday I took part in the first screening of a Romanian film (documentary) in the #Metaverse. I don’t expect many to understand this, but over the years, we will look back to this moment as a historic one. @danstroie and his @77YearsBack documentary opened a new land of opportunities for the local film industry. Dan and his team succeeded to be the first Romanian film that: 1. Linked an NFT collection to the movie and sold-out. The funds were used to enroll the @77YearsBack documentary to over 70 international film festivals. Launching an NFT collection for the purpose of raising these funds, not only helped Dan, but most importantly, it created a community. A community that in return for their donations, received several perks linked to the movie itself, besides the NFT which is already a representation of their support, involvement and pioneering. 2. Brought the first Metaverse screening of a Romanian film. An enthusiastic group of 22 people participated yesterday at this screening. They are the pioneers of the Romanian Web3 Film industry. I know it’s not a lot, but looking at the bigger picture, this is the start of something that could become a mandatory integration for all film launches in the near future. A big-shout has to go also to @CristianB3D, the Metaverse architect who created the @Spatial_io space where the screening took place. It looked out of this world! (maybe because it actually was). What Cristian built is a place that could be used by anyone for private and public screenings! Think of young directors, who don’t have the funding of renting a IRL cinema for their screening, or established films that want to extend the IRL screening, making it available to more people. There are a lot of opportunities here! We are very early! Last Thursday I was at the private screening of @77YearsBack. This screeing was available only for the 77 Years Back NFT holders. The documentary that follows Grandpa Victor going back to his birthplace after 77 years and which was directed by his nephew @danstroie, made all of us think of the important things in life and the closure that many of us are looking for in regards to different aspects of our lives.
