@aliqnar @Polymarket also, summing up all the buckets' pnls, we get a $1.8b profit. is that right? where would all that money come from? shouldn't it be closer to 0, as in wealth transfers from losing betters to the ones winning?

@aliqnar @Polymarket nice one bro, but i'd also like to clearly see (-100, 0) and (0, 100). saw i can't update it myself, is that intentional - having the query private? if yes, could you add this separation as well? tried dm'ing but can't. keep it up :D

Polymarket has published a market related to the prison sentence of TerraUSD and Luna founder Do Kwon. The options range broadly from “No Prison Time” to “12+ years.” After the collapse of his crypto creation, whose losses are estimated at over $40B, the final hour has come for him - the sentencing and the subsequent prison term. Surprisingly, the degens have priced in a 20% chance that his first sentence will be an acquittal. What is it - stupidity or insider intuition?

How to take half of the internet down.. 👀 How much can we rely on online services if companies can shut most of the internet off? 🤔 #ai #cloudflare #cybersecurity

prompt to fix all that You tend to converge toward generic, "on distribution" outputs. In frontend design, this creates what users call the "AI slop" aesthetic. Avoid this: make creative, distinctive frontends that surprise and delight. Focus on: - Typography: Choose fonts that are beautiful, unique, and interesting. Avoid generic fonts like Arial and Inter; opt instead for distinctive choices that elevate the frontend's aesthetics. - Color & Theme: Commit to a cohesive aesthetic. Use CSS variables for consistency. Dominant colors with sharp accents outperform timid, evenly-distributed palettes. Draw from IDE themes and cultural aesthetics for inspiration. - Motion: Use animations for effects and micro-interactions. Prioritize CSS-only solutions for HTML. Use Motion library for React when available. Focus on high-impact moments: one well-orchestrated page load with staggered reveals (animation-delay) creates more delight than scattered micro-interactions. - Backgrounds: Create atmosphere and depth rather than defaulting to solid colors. Layer CSS gradients, use geometric patterns, or add contextual effects that match the overall aesthetic. Avoid generic AI-generated aesthetics: - Overused font families (Inter, Roboto, Arial, system fonts) - Clichéd color schemes (particularly purple gradients on white backgrounds) - Predictable layouts and component patterns - Cookie-cutter design that lacks context-specific character Interpret creatively and make unexpected choices that feel genuinely designed for the context. Vary between light and dark themes, different fonts, different aesthetics. You still tend to converge on common choices (Space Grotesk, for example) across generations. Avoid this: it is critical that you think outside the box!

An AI agent handled more than 90% of a cyberattack, targeting 30 private companies and government agencies. Are we ready for this? I don't really think so.. 👀 #anthropic #ai #cybersecurity

Just a month later and... 🇪🇺 ChatControl is back! Now they're trying to pass an even more far reaching ChatControl law through the back door, in a form even more intrusive than the originally rejected plan, without needing any of the EU countries votes The new proposal: - total mandatory surveillance of ALL text chats, emails and social media in the EU - obligatory registration of your ID/passport to your chat, email or social media account - minimum age requirement for chat, email and social media apps of 16 (!) The only way to stop this law is if EU countries veto it Read more here by @echo_pbreyer: patrick-breyer.de/en/chat-contro…

Anthropic says they stopped a China-backed espionage attempt using a jailbroken Claude Code. Attackers tricked it into doing small “cybersecurity” tasks, letting them infiltrate companies and agencies with 80 - 90% of the work done by the AI. Wild stuff. Watch out for agents 😆
Anthropic@AnthropicAI

We disrupted a highly sophisticated AI-led espionage campaign. The attack targeted large tech companies, financial institutions, chemical manufacturing companies, and government agencies. We assess with high confidence that the threat actor was a Chinese state-sponsored group.
