The cancel culture will be the thing that hurts this club, nothing else. There hasn’t been a truer moment of “careful what you wish for” #itfc

@FootballLeagueW What a shit article this is. You’ve weaved it into click bait and only provided about 20% of how Simon actually framed it up, which to be fair, the full conversation was a decent conclusion by him.

@JohnSlaterITFC Azon starter every game from now on, unless tactical changes needed for different opponents. His improvement curve is massive and worth persevering with that imo. Hirst looks to be at his ceiling, which isn’t hate on the player, just what an eye test is looking like on the pitch.

❌ "I don't want to see a football club being leveraged by any politician!" 🤦‍♂️ "If it was a political party someone liked, there wouldn't be a backlash against it!" Simon Jordan has his say on the reaction to Nigel Farage and Reform UK's #ITFC stadium tour! 👀

@LesMuttons They’ll all be back. Usual shouty and over exaggerated behaviour when it’s behind a keyboard, lots of threats and cancel culture. Ironically, those are the ones that have given it air time. If they had just ignored it, the social post from Reform would have been worthless.

Genuine question after the carnage yesterday. Of all the people that said "I will not be back" or "I have cut up my season ticket"...how many of you will actually be there against Birmingham? #itfc

@janthonydean It’s a storm in a tea cup. Guarantee a stupid visit from a political party (consider that Keir Starmer did several around football clubs) will be forgotten. The work the club have done with the community is the real work that they actually associate with.

Town have just royally fucked everything they’ve worked so hard to achieve. Whether a naive oversight, genuine mistake, whatever it might be - this will stick with the club far longer than any good done sadly. Not a peep from Ashton either. #ITFC

SHOCKING: 99% of people using LinkedIn for outbound are barely scratching the surface. Right now, the entire internet is screaming "LinkedIn, LinkedIn, LinkedIn"... But here's the truth: sending random DMs without a system won't book 10 calls a day. To unlock its real power, you need to master: - Profile optimisation that gets inbound interest before you DM anyone - DM frameworks with 15%+ reply rates built in - A sell-by-chat structure that converts without pressure or pitching I spent 100+ hours building the most complete LinkedIn outbound playbook and compiled all 5 core modules plus 2 bonuses into one resource. I'll give it to only 1,000 people. To get it: 1. Follow me MUST (so I can DM) 2. Comment "PLAYBOOK" 3. I'll DM you the playbook If you don't follow or comment, you won't receive it.

@MickLum @IpswichTown Yes, X tends to be an echo chamber of moaners and keyboard warriors. When you speak to supporters at the games, pubs, trains, just out in general really - I hear much more reasoned and respectful conversations.

Following Monday’s visit by the Reform party and its leader, Nigel Farage, the club would like to issue the following statement: Ipswich Town Football Club has, over several years, hosted representatives from a range of political parties. The club remains apolitical and does not support or endorse any individual or party. The club will continue to engage with representatives from across the political spectrum as part of its role within the community. Ipswich Town is proud to be an inclusive, diverse, and welcoming organisation that supports all members of the local and wider community. This commitment remains unchanged.

@MickLum @IpswichTown Probably says more about a small proportion of our fans on social media than the club to be fair.

@IpswichTown There is more division in the #ITFC fanbase this season than at any point since the takeover. Online bickering over transfers, players, management, tactics at a level unseen since Marcus Evans moved on And someone at the club thinks now is a good time to do something like this

@NW777777777 @ksnewberry @IpswichTown It’s not the club endorsing a political side though is it. However, I do agree that all football clubs should be careful that they don’t get drawn into unintentional optics when a 3rd party uses their brand in media.

Most people think Claude is for writing content. I have created a kit to help you navigate what you can actually do with the tool. → build investor-grade presentations → structure your entire pitch → write hooks, slides, and talking points → even guide visuals and storytelling And this? Just a glimpse. The real power is in the full prompt system behind it. Comment “KIT” and follow me, I’ll send you the complete setup. FREE for 24 hours!!!

This probably shouldn't be free but whatever. I built a content system that hits 200,000+ impressions a month. It's not about posting more It's not about some magic hook formula It's definitely not about commenting "great post!" on 50 profiles a day It's about writing once and letting the system do the rest Here's what's inside: → The Source Content Method - write one deep piece per week, get 7 days of posts out of it → The Only 5 Post Types You Need - stop rotating through 47 templates, master these 5 → The 3 Content Buckets That Convert - not all posts are created equal, these are the ones that actually fill pipeline → The Distribution System (60 min/day) - the exact morning + evening routine that keeps the algorithm happy without burning out → Content - Pipeline System - how to turn impressions into actual conversations with buyers → CTA Frameworks That Convert - the exact comment-bait structures that drive DMs without sounding desperate → 10 High-Converting Hooks (Copy/Paste) - ready to use, no ideation needed → What To Post When - a repeatable weekly schedule so you never stare at a blank screen again It’s yours if you want it. Reply "CONTENT" and I'll send it over.

I've overseen go-to-market strategy for 200+ B2B companies. A majority of them were leaving millions in pipeline on the table.... By relying on 2-3 disconnected acquisition channels with no system tying them together. I mapped out the exact flywheel we use to cover every stage from traffic generation to retention. Comment "flywheel" and I'll DM it to you. (Must be following)

We've sent over 23M cold emails. These 54 intent signals got us 5-11% reply rates, consistently. Most cold outreach fails and it's not because of your copy. Neither is it your subject line or your offer. It's your TIMING. If you reach out when the buyer raises their hand, so will everyone else. Your clients' inbox is now a warzone and you're just another name in it. The best time to reach out is right BEFORE that moment. That window where something changed internally but it's not obvious to the market yet. → Hiring spike in a single department = Someone just got budget approved. → A key tool stopped working in their stack = They're evaluating alternatives. → They raised funding without adding headcount = They're going to outsource. Those are real intent signals. Not generic job postings scraped off of LinkedIn or a list you could buy with 50,000 names on it. We use 54 of these triggers at ColdIQ to find high-conversion opportunities before the competition even knows they exist. And they keep us at 5-11% reply rates across the board, consistently. Want the full list? Reply "INTENT" and I'll send it. Must be following.

@mattstannard @TheCruncher76 @JJacobb20 I don’t believe that to be true. There has been a huge amount of investment in getting to Cat 1 status and also in academy infrastructure + youth recruitment than there has been for decades. If the club didn’t want a pathway for academy players, this wouldn’t have happened.

@TheCruncher76 @JJacobb20 How often do we say our younger players need a loan move? There is no pathway at #ITFC for academy players into the first team, there hasn't been for quite some time, perhaps as far back as Wickham?

@TheCruncher76 @JJacobb20 I agree with that. Dowman is potentially a generational talent and as they said on match of the day, it wasn’t how young he was, as to why Arteta brought him on, it was because he’s already good enough to change games. Very different situation.

@JJacobb20 Dowman is elite level and doing it against premier league footballers. Mendel needs a loan move. Different levels
