@mattvanswol He thinks he has a Fourth Amendment right not to be observed on a major highway? He's about to get an education.

🚨#BREAKING: A former Air Force engineer in Virginia has been arrested after he allegedly damaged / destroyed over a dozen Flock cameras. When asked why, he said the Flock cams were, "unconstitutional and a violation of my and others’ Fourth Amendment rights." He allegedly tossed them off major highways where they shattered. Police caught the former engineer by using the very Flock cams he was destroying to track him down.

James Talarico: "Too many white churches are too focused on the afterlife and not really much on this life. In my opinion, a lot of white churches don't resemble the Jesus we meet in the gospels." "The black churches that I've been in, they -- I think, because of their position in this country historically and currently -- have a much deeper and more accurate understanding of what it means to follow Jesus in the 21st century."

🚨 WOW! Candace Owens completely exposes Donald Trump's massive hypocrisy. She reveals the US President intentionally named her the most vile person of the year instead of Jeffrey Epstein! The Trump administration is desperately trying to silence her massive investigation.

The Rhythms of Life : Planting rice and the coming Rainy Season in the hills of Nepal. Old Life in rural Nepal is based on the rhythms of nature. Seasons inform when to plant, when to watch grow, and when to harvest. In between times are for ceremonies, family, and laughter…….the ebbs and flows. A life fully dependent upon, and in balance with nature and their surroundings. There are no supermarkets, to Home Depots, no 7-11s…….there is what you grow, period. Water coming from aqueducts miles upriver, mountainsides terraced over generations, buffalo being cared for and fed, and knowledge passed down hand to hand. To simply put food on the table. There are no other options.

@SenJohnBarrasso @SenateGOP @POTUS Get the Save America Act on the floor of the Senate, debate it for as long as there are senators wanting to talk, and take a vote. No more excuses. Don't leave Washington until it's done.

These sentences are a travesty and totally unjustified, but that's the point. Americans hate the fascist Trump regime, so the only way they can try to cling to power is brute force. NSPM-7 is a grave threat to all of us and more bullshit "terrorism" charges like these are coming. theguardian.com/us-news/2026/j…

The housing bill passed with 358 votes in the House and 85 in the Senate. President ready to sign; ceremony all set at Capitol. 90 minutes beforehand, Trump pulls out. Bill not signed, future uncertain. Why?

Ok, I thought I was done being surprised by anything Donald Trump does like this. A bipartisan bill that the White House worked hard to get passed, that everyone (including MAGA) seems to love, on a signature issue for voters concerned about affordability, that had been scheduled to sign at a high-profile event...at which the president would get the credit.... Scuttled, in the name of another piece of legislation that literally cannot pass...... Wonders never cease with DJT....

I don’t want to make you sad, but I’ve told you all along that we’re going to lose the birthright citizenship case. And it’s not because the cons are chicken or leftist. You need to understand that they would be reaffirming over 100 years of precedent, sidestepping complicated consequences, and maintaining the status quo. These are things judges tend to do. You don’t need to tell me all the arguments. I know them. There are arguments on the other side too, even if you don’t like them. They are real arguments and they’re likely to persuade everyone, but Alito and Thomas. I know you don’t want to hear that. That’s why you need to hear that. So, brace yourself to lose, probably 7 to 2. I would love to be wrong, but I’m not going to be.

Dems straight up handed Republicans a midterm boost last night by electing a bunch of self-declared Dem Socialists who make AOC & Rashida Tlaib look like moderates. But the president just stepped on what SHOULD have been a great morning for the right. Does housing affordability infighting headlines now upstage the Mam-Daddy's NY sweep?

BREAKING NEWS: PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP has canceled the signing of the housing bill until Congress passes the SAVE America Act. The stage is set in the Capitol. House GOP leadership is literally on stage right now touting the bill.

The alternative to the deal is not a prolonged ground war. That's the point. We're not advocating for an invasion and occupation. We're not even advocating for forced regime change per se. Our issue is with the terms of the deal. That is what we find unacceptable. If Trump decided he no longer wants to pursue the war, that's fine, but why did we need to give up so much when we could have just stepped back? Why do we need to let them sell their oil on the free market? Why are we giving them a $300 billion "reconstruction" package? Why are we unfreezing their funds? Why are we lifting sanctions? Why are we protecting Hezbollah? We had them in a military and economic chokehold, and we just gave it up for nothing. They didn't suddenly become friendly. They didn't change their behavior. They didn't stop funding terrorism. Pursue the war or not, this surrender was completely unnecessary. The deal sounds like it was made when we were surrounded by the enemy and had no choice. But we did have a choice. We could have won.
Andrew Kolvet@AndrewKolvet

Those who oppose the deal should consider the realistic alternatives. How many ground troops would regime change actually require? 50,000? 100,000? Where would they deploy? What would the likely American casualties be? Would Israel join in deployments, or would this fall entirely on the U.S.? How long would it take? How many civilian deaths? What happens to oil prices? Would Iran fall into a deadly Civil War and a sectarian mess? How many migrants would the West be forced to absorb? I've asked my friends who seem upset by this deal to answer those questions and they don't seem to have any good answers.

Under President @realDonaldTrump and @VP, we continue to make the world safer and more prosperous. In line with the ongoing productive talks in Switzerland, Iran has committed to free and open transit in the Strait of Hormuz and to permit International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors into their country. As part of the framework, Treasury has issued a temporary 60-day general license authorizing the production, delivery, and sale of Iranian oil.

The stronger a person shows gratitude, the less sincere it is. When someone tells you he is your friend, if he goes over the top, he’s not. Such people are like King Lear’s older daughters. This isn’t new wisdom, but bears repeating. I had to learn the lesson again recently.

The flaws in the MOU are meaningful only if the MOU is meaningful. Since Iran will never abide by it, the MOU -- whatever its terms and flaws -- is a nullity. The same status of hostilities remains. The US is its own "brake" on what it is willing to do. Today a particular set of imperatives drive the decision-making. Those imperatives will -- as always -- change over time.
Marc Thiessen@marcthiessen

Isn’t it interesting how those who openly opposed what Trump was trying to accomplish with Operation Epic Fury are now suddenly decrying the supposed disloyalty of those who supported him and are now pointing out the flaws of the MOU? 🤔
