Dead Congregation truly is the best example of how I like my death metal. Cast from the depths of hell with crushing riffs and excellent tempo changes. This is the pinnacle of cavernous death metal.
Dead Congregation - Promulgation of the Fall 🇬🇷
This day in 1986 Depeche Mode released the phenomenal Black Celebration album. 40 years later while watching ep 6 of Heated Rivalry, “The Cottage”, my mind flashed to “Here is the House”. Incredible how this song encapsulates the vibe so perfectly. Enjoy. youtu.be/42FjiQKsPl4?si…
@Erik_Quill 1000% true! Fun that I just played through ‘Suspended in the Brume of Eos’ twice last night. I know what’s going on the turntable later for sure now.
Music at work sometimes allows a deeper listen while I’m doing machine maintenance and such. I just now caught in this Worm, Midwinter Tears closing solo, what sounds like a playful riff on the closing from Black Horseman. Absolutely love these bands and this type of stuff!
Black metal & morning coffee ☕️
This album is just fantastic. Blending melodic black metal with Tolkien is never wrong.

Again, despite really hating some of Fennell's decisions, I didn't hate her film overall. But let's be real, this fake title is far more appropriate than her use of Brönte's "Wuthering Heights," with or without quotation marks.
