@IncomeTaxIndia @FinMinIndia Form 41 must be filed online to avail benefit of DTAA, but many NR are facing issues while registering and filing Form 41 on IT portal as they are not receiving Mobile OTP on foreign mobile no. Pls do away with mobile OTP verification in such cases

To illustrate - if Mr A is a director in Xyz Pvt Ltd then we do NOT have to register his DSC in the profile of the company. We have to only register the DSC in his personal profile under his own PAN.

CBDT issues Circular No. 11 of 2021 dt 21.06.2021 on implementation of section 206AB & 206CCA wrt higher tax deduction/collection for certain non-filers. New functionality issued for compliance checks for sec 206AB & 206CCA to ease compliance burden of tax deductors/collectors.

@IncomeTaxIndia @PMOIndia @nsitharaman 14 days since you assured that the Practical concerns u/s. 206AB will be suitably addressed, however there is no announcement until date. To address the prevailing anxiety, least CBDT can do is to immediately announce the deferment of implementation from July 1 to September 30 !
