So Gordon does not magically become a €50m signing from €70m. Even adding fifa solidarity fee does not make this maths work. - Most importantly, Abde’s sale does NOT reduce Gordon’s transfer fee. These are completely separate transactions. If I overpay and buy a car worth €58k for €70k, then later sell my old bike for €12k, that does not mean I bought the car for €58k. I still overpaid €70k for the car. The bike sale is a completely separate transaction. Calling this “Deco playing chess” is stupidity.
