Could be wrong come 7 PM but nothing on the streets of Ahmedabad suggest a WC final involving India. Deserted roads, not a lot going on. Very very different build up to Nov. 19 when there was a festival on the streets in the morning.

Came back from a good run. Beautiful morning. Everything was so peaceful and serene. Too many posts yesterday about the civic infrastructure of my town. Every city in the country - there are good sections and bad. Like most municipalities ours is also a mess and with three term PM, MP(part of cabinet), MLA and overwhelming support from public things should have been way way better. The larger problem is growth of cities beyond capacity and illegal colonies.
