Literally saw someone post about finally reading this As did I. 4 sittings and I got through this biography and it’s one of the best written ones I’ve ever read Many good insights and at many points it felt like there was no out. If we do anything we need celebrate JTE

Finally read the Justin Townes Earle biography. An epic read. I bawled at the end. As much about the gentrification of cities and corporatization of music as it is a history of one of my generation’s greatest voices. I didn’t think music journalism of this quality still existed
