So this is what they call “great communication skills”? A man who can recite figures like morning devotion but cannot explain how his political path leads to victory without insulting everybody else? Peter Obi’s biggest talent is packaging ordinary statements as revelation. Mention China, quote Bangladesh, add small Egypt, sprinkle “go and verify,” then supporters will start screaming “goosebumps.” But Nigeria is not looking for a TED Talk president. Nigeria is looking for a leader who understands structure, coalition, security, economy, federalism, national unity and the brutal electoral map of 36 states plus FCT. Clarity of thought? Where was that clarity when he jumped from party to party looking for the easiest presidential ticket? Where was that clarity when he avoided hard coalition questions? Where was that clarity when internal democracy became inconvenient because every political road must somehow end with Peter Obi on the ballot? Precise understanding of the issues? Then let him precisely explain how he will win the North. Let him precisely explain how he will protect votes beyond social media strongholds. Let him precisely explain how he will build a national coalition without treating every other opposition figure as a stepping stone. Let him precisely explain how “New Nigeria” can be built on entitlement, emotional blackmail and a fan base that abuses every region that refuses to worship him. Facts and figures are good, but leadership is not a school debate. You can have facts and still lack political wisdom. You can speak smoothly and still be electorally weak. You can quote statistics and still fail to understand that Nigeria is not governed from a spreadsheet. The real problem with Obi’s movement is that they confuse performance with preparedness. Once he speaks calmly, they call it brilliance. Once he mentions numbers, they call it policy. Once he criticizes others, they call it courage. But when you ask for structure, national spread, coalition discipline and a realistic road to victory, the whole conversation turns into insults. Nigeria does not need a president who gives supporters goosebumps while giving opposition strategy headache. Nigeria needs maturity, depth, reach, courage and a serious plan that can survive beyond campaign applause. “New Nigeria is POssible” sounds nice. But Nigeria cannot be rebuilt with hashtags, imported statistics and political entitlement dressed as excellence.

Tinubu is not worthy to be called a leader, he lacks ideas, competence, integrity, accountability, honesty etc. If he’s to be my father which can never be, I will disown him with this level of corruption and criminality under his watch! Family of no shame! wife, children, relatives and allies are all shameless!

What Our Pervasive Insecurity Requires: A Holistic not Reactive Approach. In a hasty effort to be perceived as attentive and courageous, it is reported that President Bola Tinubu has approved the recruitment of about 1000 forest guards for Oyo State. This is a further demonstration of poor leadership and attending to very serious governance and security issues with a reactive approach. It is the same reactive approach that led to the sudden removal of fuel subsidy and floating of the Naira that has caused irreparable damage to ordinary Nigerians and the economy. While recruiting more security personnel for Oyo state and the country is important, it should be done in a more organised and well-thought-out manner. Presently, almost all the 36 states in Nigeria are experiencing different forms of insecurity, with Oyo, Plateau, Kwara, Kogi, Borno, Katsina, Anambra, Niger, Imo, and Sokoto being very alarming. The question, such as the reactive approach of our President, is whether all the states will receive the same approval to recruit 1000 forest guards per state, that is 37, 000 forest guards for the 36 states and Abuja or is the recruitment approval based on the mood of the President? Moreover, with the approval for Oyo, what will happen to the Amotekun Corps that is trying its best to secure South-West Nigeria?. Will they be disbanded in Oyo state? The pervasive insecurity we currently have is directly related to the failure of our ecosystem, particularly leadership. It is only failure in leadership that can lead to the death of over 10,000 innocent Nigerians since 2023, and Nigeria is ranked among the top-most terror-affected countries in the world. Addressing our insecurity situation requires a holistic or what can be described as an ecosystem approach. With failure in leadership, there is failure in unifying our dear nation, failure in industrialisation, failure in harnessing our abundant resources in agriculture, minerals, tourism, water, sports and even oil and gas to effectively generate required revenue, growth and particularly jobs for our exponentially growing youth population. A New and Productive Nigeria will be POssible, and we will be OK! -P0
