There is this overarching point to be made of life feeling very liminal, or familiar, the backrooms or mythoamerica both push the same button of life, something feels so familiar yet so far from reality. Reality itself is so abstracted into unconscious that we can only feel a connection to our familiar surroundings, we remember the feeling of a place more than an action, we remember how we felt.
