Potent analysis but this by itself isn’t enough to explain why the price went crashing toward $0 the way it just did. Even if the team fully dumped as much supply as liquidity would allow, that would temporarily drop the price on one (or a few) exchanges then dead cat bounce.

On the flip side, to asset the @WSJ needed dirt on somebody who just did a 4 month prison bid while being de facto removed as the head of a crypto exchange that paid $2B *and* admitted to wrongdoing on top of it is crazy. What do they have to gain by smearing *your* name?

Can’t believe I’m taking up for @cz_binance here, but unless there’s PAPERWORK on him saying he cooperated, you can’t put that snitch label on him. He came close to telling w SBF but he just exposed there was a DOJ investigation which ain’t quite the same.
