He became one of the youngest MPs elected to Canadian parliament and has spent 2 decades fighting for working class people and fair opportunities. On April 1, 2026, (tomorrow) Canadians will face a 2% federal excise tax increase on beer, wine, and other alcohol. The industrial carbon tax is set to rise 16%, which will also raise consumer prices and federal payroll taxes for CPP and EI will increase. Fortunately we can rest easy knowing that on the same day Mark Carney is getting a $17,600 dollar increase & all Federal MP’s are receiving an $8800 increase & Ministers are receiving a $13000 thousand dollar increase. We are and always will be the fools on April fools day under the Liberal Government.
