Warhorse Studios knows that some players may stop playing Kingdom Come: Deliverance because the games are made to be difficult on purpose. Creative director Prokop Jirsa discussed this design choice. “Our design approach is a little different,” Jirsa explained. “For example, during playtesting—which you should do, as it’s really useful—they measure points of friction. They identify where people get confused or angry, and note the percentage who would stop playing at that moment.” “The usual answer is to remove the friction. We don’t work like that. We feel that if you overcome intentional friction, it helps you, because you feel better about yourself.” Jirsa added that they accept losing some players: “You will lose players who are not there for any friction. They just want a smooth experience, and there’s nothing bad about that. Smooth experiences have their place… but we are intentionally different.”

@lukasmimo @1holtei @VideoCardz It was this bad from day 1 before dynamic framegen. I tried dynamic today and it made it even worse.

@AlpinDale @1holtei @VideoCardz You gotta use frame gen override option B. Ever since they introduced dynamic fg, FG in general lost quality in favor of performance. This game shipped with the newer version. Maybe that’s why you’re seeing worse quality.

@1holtei @VideoCardz Yeah even with 2x you get artifacts and distortions when you move around. Especially at the bottom of the screen.

@dibslover The dongle is to enable adaptive triggers and haptic feedback which currently have zero functionality over Bluetooth while connected to a pc.

@astriiiiel @Cocivs @dibslover Haptic Feedbsck is SOMETIMES, supported via Bluetooth but Haptic Feedback is never supported unless a cable is used. This is the official Sony support

@Cocivs @dibslover I'm not sure if it's related but have you updated the controller firmware through the pc app Cuz mine worked both wired and wireless with full features

@dibslover Haptic feedback does not work at all via Bluetooth. DSX has some low quality attempt at this cause all it does is create vibration for literally every sound coming out of the game. Not like a real haptic feedback per game implementation.

@DuIslingr @Vesmic87 @dibslover Not quite. It fakes parts of it. It’s not like a native integration. I tried it and it sucks. Good on paper but not really like using the version created specific for the game.

@MiojoDaNike @gomeshiro @otavi0XI Vc não entendeu. Se o gargalo é no cpu, não adianta usar dlss (o upscaler). Nesse caso, não aumentará o fps. Dlss só funciona pra aumentar o fps se o gargalo for no GPU. A não ser que usa frame generation (ai é sim funciona).

@MiojoDaNike @otavi0XI não importa o quanto DLSS melhorou recentemente quando jogos começam a pedir processadores cabulosos como recomendado pra um humilde gameplay em 1080p, existe algum problema debaixo do capô desse fusca

@ethcryptoboi @paulbatistta Vc não está entendendo. Se o cpu não consegue produzir, por exemplo, mais de 40fps, vc pode ter uma 5090, e usar dlss performance que seu fps final vai continuar sendo 40 ( a não ser que use frame generation e claro, oq não está em discussão)
