What probability did the IB Edge Indicator show at 10:20 AM? A solid 76% chance of an upside breakout. 📈 So, what did I do? I executed the plan: 🟢 Entry: Long at the 0.75 level 🔴 Stop Loss: 0.5 level 🎯 Exit: Took profit upon creating a new high inside the IB. 12-8 am I had entered on the cross Sl❌ Lesson - during the market open 9:30 am candle, I had to wait at least a few minutes -on to the next day

What happened in your case is that, during weeks with a bullish trend, breaking out to the upside and reverting to the mean over the last 4 months has yielded an almost negligible edge of just 57%. This is why it is good practice to track performance live across 3, 6, 9, and 12-month periods. Additionally, a highly effective way to filter using a key data point is with the p12: if you are above the p12 high, NO shorts; if you are below the p12, NO longs.

This week's results for the 6 AM, 7 AM & 12–8 AM Reversion Models based on @Mc5calpAfee's concepts: Mon ❌ Tue ✅ Wed ❌ Thu ✅ Fri ❌ 2 TP | 3 SL | -1R Rules stayed the same: • One trade per day • Strict 1:1 RR On to the next week.

@christopherfx10 @Mc5calpAfee P.S. I trade the 12–8 range like the 7 AM model; 6 AM and 7 AM are strictly by Mc5calpAfee's rules.

@christopherfx10 @Mc5calpAfee Yeah, according to Mc5calpAfee's rules, there's no entry. However, from my backtesting, the move is sometimes too fast and doesn't give a retest entry. In those cases, once a 5m candle closes below the range, I enter on the cross.

Patience pays. Finally, we got an entry on the 12–8 AM Model, and it went straight to TP. A good reminder that waiting for your setup and sticking to your rules is often worth it. @Mc5calpAfee Thank you
