We had a similar event except a contractor drained and started demo on our pool (in less than 3 hours) - they were supposed to be 2 doors down. Typo on the work order. We got a “refreshed” pool from the contractor.

The Volkov family came home from two weeks in Cancún to find a fully installed, 18-by-36-foot inground swimming pool in their backyard. Landscaping. Tile edging. Heated. The whole thing. The contractor had misread "44 Delaware Lane" as "44 Delaware Court - three blocks away. The actual client, a dentist named Phil Meacham, drove over the next morning, stood at the fence, and just stared. Insurance wouldn't cover relocation. Excavation quotes came back at $41,000 - more than the original install. Phil's lawyer called the Volkovs. Their lawyer called Phil's lawyer back. They settled in August. The Volkovs kept the pool. Phil got a new one free. The contractor's insurance dropped him, but three neighbors hired him that same month - said anyone who builds pools that clean deserves the work.

Today is the day.
She goes in for open heart surgery in a few hours. It’ll be a coronary artery bypass grafting surgery to address blockages of 100%, 80%, and 70%.
