Per @grok: Yes, the post from @DimeDropperPod (which your photo also matches) is showing the **Wilt Chamberlain Gymnasium** at the Baldwin Hills Recreation Center in Los Angeles. It's a local LA rec center gym named after Wilt, complete with a mural of him on the wall (the photos in the original post show the sign above the entrance and the mural inside). The user was asking locals if they knew about it and what Wilt's specific connection was to **that** particular spot—why it was dedicated to him, if he frequented it, etc.—since there wasn't much obvious public info available. From replies in the thread and general knowledge: - One reply joked that Wilt "came a lot" (referencing his famous claim of sleeping with 20,000 women), which is the classic Wilt innuendo punchline. - Another said they heard he came about 100 times (playing on the same joke but dialing it down to visits). The real connection appears to be Wilt's long-term residence and ties to the LA area after his playing career. He lived in LA for decades (including in a famous Bel-Air mansion he designed himself), stayed involved in the community, and supported youth/recreational programs. The Baldwin Hills rec center likely named the gym in his honor due to his status as an LA sports icon (especially with the Lakers) and his outreach in underserved communities like Baldwin Hills, which has a strong Black cultural history. There's no widely documented evidence he played or trained there regularly (his famous high school gym exploits were back in Philadelphia at Overbrook High), but community tributes like this often come from his philanthropy, appearances at local events, or simply his legendary status making him a fitting namesake for a public gym in LA. If you're in the area and snapped that photo yourself, it's a cool hidden gem—most people associate Wilt more with arenas like the Forum or his Philly roots, not a rec center sign like that!

Did anyone in LA know the Baldwin Hills rec gym is called the Wilt Chamberlain Gym & has this mural of him? What was Wilt’s connection to this rec center? Did he come a lot? There was no real info on why that particular rec center was dedicated to Dipper

I didn't realize this but apparently the Clippers on Wednesday got the only win by 25 points or more in NBA history when an opponent still shoots 59.7% from the field.
