How to obtain right parasternal view This is the resulting image: aortic valve, proximal ascending aorta wrapping over the pulmonary artery. Perfect alignment for aortic valve velocities making it an ESSENTIAL view for proper AS assessment.

Top tips from the master himself on imaging the aortic valve in 4D! 👀
Nicolas Merke@NMerke

#3D #echofirst looking at aortic valve is not easy 👉 multi beat 👉 reduce temp resolution by reducing Frame rate knob (so spatial goes up) 👉 increase 2D gain 👉 bit gamma #3DEchoBerlin Workshop 23.01. -25.01.2026 Onsite or 2 days online #EACVI endorsement 👊 Program shorturl.at/AHLMZ 👉 Register here shorturl.at/z9lZS

Great tips and tricks for obtaining an ideal 4D RV dataset using Multislice (available on GE Vivid) to quality check your acquisition! Accurate and reproducible measurements rely on good data. 2D or 3D - the same rules apply!
Ritu Thamman MD@iamritu

RV volumes #echofirst #EACVI2025 @lpbadano ⭐️ Ideal 3D RV data set 1. RV focused view (avoid sternal shadow, aim transducer t/w R shoulder) 2.single beat acquisition/over gain aim for F R 25-40 vps 3. Get entire wall thickness in all RV segments , adjust depth to exclude RA

I’ve noticed that sometimes the difficulty of doing 3D TOE is sometimes the communication between 1st and 2nd operator … How many of you (TOE operator) take the pictures/operate the machine yourself vs having a second operator you’re relying on to store/change settings etc?

So I am going to HAVE to move to Scotland now 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿- before and during my swim in the Scottish highlands. I absolutely love it every time I visit - whichever town or city I get to explore. It’s so magical here. And a balmy 12 degrees water temperature in the loch today! 🫶🏼
