Elon Musk, you grew up privileged under apartheid’s racist system, benefiting from structures that oppressed black people in their own country—without challenging them—yet now you label South Africa’s redress laws as “extremely racist.” Whites, a tiny minority, still dominate farmland ownership and hold disproportionate wealth in one of the most unequal societies in the world. Statistics continue to show that white South Africans earn far more on average than black South Africans. Black Economic Empowerment may not be perfect, but it exists to address generations of dispossession and exclusion not to reverse racism. Ignoring that reality distorts the purpose of these policies. Your outrage, especially when your company Starlink failed to comply with equity requirements, looks selective. It raises questions about whether the criticism is rooted in principle or convenience. South Africa is trying to rebuild a more equal society. That requires confronting historical imbalances, not dismissing efforts to correct them while defending advantages shaped by the past.

They demanded cash from the tills and then moved to the cash office, stealing an estimated R250,000 As the robbers fled the store, they encountered a marked police vehicle outside containing four police reservists from Naledi SAPS who were on routine patrol. The suspects opened fire on the police vehicle. One male constable was shot in the left leg (injured; taken for medical treatment). A female reservist/constable was fatally shot in the head. She was declared dead on arrival.

The state already closed its case in 2007, yet the ANC-controlled judiciary seems determined to deny justice to the accused by delaying the trial for as long as possible, ostensibly for propaganda purposes. Approximately 50 Boer political prisoners are currently being held captive in South African prisons under inhumane circumstances. The Boeremag trial is still ongoing since 2002. Ten of the accused in the Boeremag trial are repeatedly refused bail, still in incarceration, and still being detained for more than 20 years. There are many White political prisoners who are rotting in jail in South Africa, never to see the light of day again. WHERE IS THE WORLD for these men? Why is there no sanctions and international media to condemn the actions of these ANC terrorists? These same organisations couldn't contain themselves during Apartheid - every small incident blown totally out of proportion - all to vilify and demonise the Whites of South Africa. Yet here is the BIGGEST human rights infringement ever in South African history and not a peep from any of these bleeding heart organisations. Where is Amnesty International? Where are the UN's Human Rights committees to investigate?

I did not say there is no problem! However, the biggest issue in this country is the 12.4% unemployment rate affecting young people, black communities, rural areas, and women. I can debate with you the history and origins of this problem to show you we are not ignoring it. The second issue is that 62% of the population live below the upper poverty line of R1 558. The third problem is that, over the 32 years of democracy, we have become the most unequal society on earth. The next set of problems involves numerous political, social, and economic challenges stemming from neoliberal and neocolonial economic policies, as well as corruption, which has weakened the capacity of the state to enforce its own laws whether regarding migration, the criminal justice system, health, or education. Can we debate this?
