@WeWillBeFree24 Keep wearing your MAGA hat & waving the Stars & Stripes preaching the gospel of Trump whilst he robs your country like a bugger. Sadly the US under Trump has become a laughing stock which will take years to rebuild respect in your nation

@BristolCityFM The word club legend is over used & icon would be better but in Scott Murray's case legend sums his commitment, selflessness big heart both as a player & since his retirement. There must be some part of the ground that could carry his name how about the Scott Murray family stand?

It is time for Super Scotty Murray to have a testimonial. A 6 month loan to Reading doesn't circumvent what a brilliant servant and ambassador he has been to the club. A legend on and off the pitch and above all else a remarkable human being. I remember when I was coaching putting a little whinge on Facebook. I'd "friended" Scott years before as a kid. We'd never spoken but he responded with words of encouragement. No tags, I was surprised he even read it, let alone took the time to comment. That doesn't even come close to the stuff he does for fans in need, providing shirts, appearances at Youth presentations, helping fans with tickets and his contributions with Matt Parsons to the food banks across the country. Scott Murray is all that is good about @BristolCity and a testimonial would give so many across Bristol to show their gratitude. We, as fans, should encourage the club to make this happen. Ashton Gate, friendly against Europa League winning Aston Villa (or Liverpool?!) @BristolCitySCT

@vicderbyshire Any man who willingly sits on a "board of peace" set up and run by a war mongering paedo doesn't earn any respect from me. Blair had his time in power he needs to steer clear of the current Labour PM now he needs to fade away in as dignified way possible before WMD's bite his ass

#Newsnight 1030pm LIVE Stinging criticism of the government (& some of its policies) from the man who took Labour to 3 general election victories Sir Tony Blair warns Labour needs a ‘fundamental reset’ if its to win a second term He also asks - what’s the point of ‘trying to force the PM out before we know what policy direction we’re bringing in’ See you 🔜

@stuey_beef I would think changing the retirement age to 67 will have an affect on youth unemployment

Labour promised to stand up for working people. But the first casualties are people trying to become working people. Youth unemployment: 16.2pc. A 12-year high. More than triple the general unemployment rate. Next says applications for each shop job have almost doubled in two years. That is a labour market flashing red. Instead of encouraging firms to hire, Labour has made employment more expensive with Rachel Reeves’s £25bn NI raid and is now making flexible work harder too. This is not compassion. It is economic vandalism dressed up as workers’ rights.

He said he would freeze council tax He said he would lower energy bills He said he would reduce student tuition fees He said he would support farmers He said he would protect pensioners He said he would support the disabled He said he would help small businesses He said he would fix the economy He said he would overhaul the immigration system At every turn, he's done precisely the opposite. Keir Starmer is the ultimate traitor and the most hated PM of all time.

They want Starmer out because he’s brought down immigration and there is no point to them anymore. Expect more talk about men in women’s toilets as they figure out what to do next. Silly chumps.

@King0243_PJC If our damned media did their jobs reporting this rather than the hyperbolic ranting of Farage & Reform maybe Starmer would get the credit he deserves. I'm not a big fan of KS but credit where it's due

This should destroy Nigel Farage’s entire political argument. Net migration has collapsed from 944,000 to around 204,000, yet voters still think it’s rising because Reform and Farage have spent years feeding Britain hysteria instead of facts. Asylum seekers are only about 9% of immigration, not the “invasion” constantly screamed about. The NHS was broken by underfunding. Housing was broken by austerity. Wages were crushed by corporate greed. Migrants were the distraction. Not the cause.

@Kristinartz Anyone who thinks staying home all the time should try it for 6 month. The same shit different day routine wears you down while you watch your life pass you by. I would love a job but I'm not able to work.

Serious question, do people actually exist who genuinely enjoy staying home all day, completely alone, without seeing anyone?

@implausibleblog When you get idiots like Farage & Badenoch repeating the same lines the sheep flock to the idea. Maggie T sold the country's silver in the 80's but NF & KB conveniently forget this. Maybe people want @UKLabour to re-nationalise everything only then could we benefit from N S oil

Lady in yellow, "Rather than weakening sanctions on Russia so we can buy their oil. Would it not be better to drill in the north sea?" Surely any oil from the North Sea ends up on the international markets anyway, so how does that benefit us in terms of pricing and supply?

@David90shaw How sad the brain dead right use figures that come out of their arse. Net migration down & more deported in less than 2yrs than Tories deported in 14yrs, economy out pacing forecasts & what taxes are soaring? Just like Farage you don't let the truth get in the way of propaganda

🚨 Take a hard look at the UK right now. Labour has been in power for less than two years and the destruction is absolute. Taxes are soaring. 100,000 jobs wiped out in a single month. Energy bills are skyrocketing. The borders are completely surrendered to the French. And what is Starmer’s Cabinet doing? Hiding in Westminster, backstabbing each other over who gets the crown next. They did not just fail to fix the country. They actively burned it to the ground. 🇬🇧📉

@TomK_Brit1993 Our politics are all about the cult of personality & something Starmer doesn't have in abundance, go back 20 or 30 years people would appreciate how good a job he's doing.

@TheExiledRobin @BCFCJordan This mid table mediocrity is frustrating but anyone who has supported the club since 1980 has seen a lot worse. We now appear to be getting people in place who should know what they're doing. As for being a mug you're right I probably am but when sing City til I die I mean it

@babyPluto011 @ChrisJCooper92 I am one of the older generation & I'm totally open to the idea. Remember the most successful manager we had Alan Dicks hadn't managed before & that turned out OK. We're not in a position to hire an experienced successful H/C nor give one the budget they would require

@ChrisJCooper92 City fans especially the older generation find the new way of football and who people employ difficult to accept but if u look at most teams now it's always a new face or someone not so experienced in 1st coach but someone who learnt there trade from a 1st coach so many examples

@Peston Robert, if only you’d explore the real concerns in UK politics – the raft of corruption allegations in Reform, Farage’s £5m ‘gift’, Farage’s Clacton house, Reform links with Russia. These are big stories that need sorting if people like you promote Farage as the next PM
