We ought to stop with the generalisations.
Your little world there in Qokolweni or Pompisrand is not a reflection of South Africa. So please stop making declarations such as ‘many South Africans’ when, in reality, you are referring to your village, your king, his five wives, your siblings, your mother, and your tat' omncinci. There is nothing wrong with articulating your lived experience. The problem arises when you mistake it for a national experience and appoint yourself spokesperson for sixty million people.
South Africa is a country of multiple realities. What is true in your corner of the world may be completely foreign to someone else's. Speak for yourself. Speak for your community if you must. But resist the temptation to speak for all South Africans.
May God bless you.

You can evacuate all undocumented African foreign nationals tomorrow. Their absence won’t create room for more jobs nor end crime. Their absence won’t stop our fathers, uncles, brothers, cousins from abusing, raping and killing women and children. Their absence won’t curb alcoholism, gambling and drug addiction. Their absence won’t stop the drug cartels from moving drugs in and around the country. Their absence won’t create jobs. Their absence won’t improve the quality of public education. Their absence won’t revive the decaying infrastructure. Their absence won’t fix the death traps that are most of our roads. Their absence won’t fix the maladministration at local government . It is the state that must be held accountable. Direct your anger to the state. Hold your political representatives in government accountable. Stop spreading hate and stop inciting violence! And stop allowing legitimate concerns and societal frustrations to be used to the benefit of those who are well funded by Apartheid Israel to destabilise the country.
I reference African nationals because they are your easy target. Seemingly you are the least perturbed by the undocumented and documented Portuguese, Greek, Chinese, Italian and Europeans who roam these streets free, with some being notorious for being the kingpins of all kinds of illicit trades. Niya be saba bona.

The truth is, @MbuyiseniNdlozi only support “activism” when you control the narrative. The moment ordinary citizens speak outside your ideological script, you label them dangerous, manipulated or counter-revolutionary.
That kind of shallow reasoning is exactly why many people stopped taking you seriously.

ANC veteran Matthews Phosa has questioned why South Africa’s anger over immigration is largely directed at black African migrants while white foreign communities rarely face the same hostility. Read: tinyurl.com/mry68rf4

No amount of cyberbullying will change the facts:
1. Irregular migration cannot be addressed by vigilantism. Law enforcement must address all matters of criminality, including the abuse of immigration laws.
2. Migration will happen, but it must happen within the confines of the rule of law.
3. Dehumanising people does not address any problem, let alone immigration challenges.
4. Structural economic issues will not be addressed by targeting foreign nationals.
5. The history of South Africa cannot be told without understanding migration, from the Mfecane / Difaqane up to the dictates of colonial settlers.

Thokoza was a scene of apartheid sponsored violence, where IFP thugs unleashed a murderous campaign against their ANC opponents.
Not surprising that IFP hostel dwellers are back to their thuggish ways.
